Kawhi gets his own team in Phoenix. Not that far from LA :D

Pop must have this technique in negotiation...

He got Aldridge to accept last year after demanding out...

He's ex CIA staff... Not sure what role though

pretty sure you can go over the cap to sign drafted players like booker

I feel like that's actually a pretty good explanation for it all

You can go over the cap to re-sign your own players, regardless if you drafted them or not.

According to that Dan Lifshatz guy, the 5dimes website only put up the Kawhi prop bets 2 hours ago. So maybe it was just a glitch. seems odd that within 2 hours some huge news would have been released. maybe i am not understanding any of this correctly haha

Lol I think if only one betting site has those odds and the rest doesn’t means it probably is bs . Just like the article where the Suns would help the Lakers that will never happen we are not taking their trash .

Maybe the trade is Josh Jackson and next years 1st round pick. That seems fair to me. Then James Jones calls up his buddy (Lebron) and shows him this super team (better fit than LA)

1) Devin Booker
2) Kawhi Leonard
3) Lebron James
4) Dragon Bender
5) DeAndre Ayton

I look at it this way. I was/am all for building through the draft and letting the young team grow, and i am against trading for Kawhi*, but there is that asterx there, If that means Lebron is coming to, then i have to be for it. Sure, we could have Ayton and JJ signed and have complete control of them for the next 8+ years, but Booker/Kawhi/Lebron and whatever other FA decide to come along on the ring chase would immediately volt us up to the top of the league with GS and Rockets (If they can keep their core together). Sure we might not be able to keep Lebron for more than 3 years, but that also means that Kawhi would have re-signed with us, and even after Lebron retires, we would still have Booker and Kawhi. Not only that, but we would turn into a FA destination again, just like we were in the Dantoni days when we were winning 60 games a season. Booker+Kawhi+some solid FA would be able to keep us right up there at the top for years.

But it would all depend on if Lebron is coming....and if Kawhi was willing to sign that extension. It would take both of those to make me ok and feel comfortable trading #1+JJ+The rest of the guys SA would take from us.

I was late to the party catching up over the past half hr and reading the Kawhi to Suns thing emerge freaked me out and this silence is making it so much worse now.

I love Kawhi but he's too risky right now especially with all this talk about him preferring to go to LA. Spurs and Kawhi gonna leave us high and dry

Yeah, thats the thing, everyone know's this so McD must be trying to work some magic or he wouldn't be risking everything for a rental.

I just did the same thing. Outside of 5 Dimes it doesn't look like there is any real action. Bovada doesn't have us on their board and the Lakers are -135.

Lurking to see if there's anything to the Kawhi rumor. There is no way for the Bovada line to move without the Suns available to bet on. I saw the 5dimes site, currently +330 for suns, -490 for field. Are there any other sites with live lines?
