Interesting...listening to the Lowe Post Podcast with Givony and they say Steve Clifford was begging them to take Donovan Mitchell last year when they were on the clock but he was overruled by others in favor of Malik Monk. Lowe even said that was only like the 7th worst draft night horror story out of Charlotte.

I love Kawhi but he's too risky right now especially with all this talk about him preferring to go to LA. Spurs and Kawhi gonna leave us high and dry

I just did the same thing. Outside of 5 Dimes it doesn't look like there is any real action. Bovada doesn't have us on their board and the Lakers are -135.

Lurking to see if there's anything to the Kawhi rumor. There is no way for the Bovada line to move without the Suns available to bet on. I saw the 5dimes site, currently +330 for suns, -490 for field. Are there any other sites with live lines?

I was looking to see if there was a significant shift for anyone. Lakers are still big favorites. I think we got a shot at Ball in a three team if we take on Dent and give up a first.

And give up a first?!?! Oh hell naaw, let them figure that out somewhere else. They can take that **** down the road to the Hawks or bulls.

I would do Kawhi/Mills for Ayton, Jackson Bucks picks contracts like Daniel, Dudley before I do Ball and Deng

Funny thing is I didn't even know it was 5 dimes forever....and that happens to be the one I have money in...but I haven't bet in well over a year. I went in and it set betting was suspended. But I think the original odds he was talking about were on another site.

5 dimes only showed Suns odds and no one else but then it said betting was suspended.

suspended just for this one bet, or the whole site? The line keeps moving. If you really think this is happening, and it means LeBron ends up there, the bet to make is +40000 LeBron first game Suns, not Kawhi +330. I wouldn't touch either bet myself.

It's probably just my account then. I haven't logged in for probably a year. If it's moving then it's not all suspended. Does it now show odds for other teams and Kawhi?

It still just shows for or against Suns. I've seen it go from +370 to +325 to +330 (which is where it was my last post and this one). The real question is did the line move that much from from where it was from the one tweet from a source who's reliability isn't known or from something else?

I would argue it depends which first and how much protection is on it. I was very wary of Lonzo last year. He didn't do much this past season to dispel those concerns but this front office was super high on him. He has some skills that are valuable and his defense was better than I expected. Depending on the deal I could be okay with it.

Well that was an exciting 2 hours that amounted to nothing. NOBODY substantial is talking about any sort of Leonard trade with us, so i'm going to say this was either gamblers gambling or some sort of computer glitch that had us all on edge for a couple of hours.

Sure seems like it was a bunch of nothing. Definitely a fun distraction from the boredom of waiting for the draft. Is it Thursday yet?!

I don't think Lebron would come for Luka - but he probably would for Kawhi. Also - I think Sac will pick Luka #2 - him dropping is just smoke screen.

Quite frankly - I think this trade if real puts Lebron in San Antonio. He loves Popovich and we will not have the room to sign Lebron after we pay Leonard.

San Antonio gets us again.

This guy Dan Lifshatz seems pretty serious about his stance.
Even called Scott Bordow out for a Old Takes Exposed lol
Hopefully he's wrong :D

Reading through his timeline. He “thinks” the #1 pick is involved. Not sure.

Is there a major shift on Kawhi to Phoenix other than 5Dimes? I’m looking at Bovada and they’re not listed in the top-6.

Several thoughts here….#1 pick is an alternate way of saying a pick in the first round, rather than the first pick in the draft, so it’s easy to confuse that sometimes. Secondly, I would not put the #1 draft pick in play for Kawhi, maybe not even if he signed long-term. I would try desperately to get Kawhi without it so we have enough powder left to blow on another bog trade to fill out the roster. I would specifically target Davis (we just hired an assistant from there) or Towns (well known Booker ties)

Jackson, 18 #16, 19 PHX #1 (top3), Bender, Chandler for Kawhi
#1, 21 MIA #1, 20 MIL #1, Warren, Chriss for Davis
Knight+Dudley+Williams+PHX 21 #1+ Additional Cap as additional trade fodder if LBJ or PG also want to come. That would be a serious super-team. Booker/Kawhi/LBJ/Davis Good luck, HOU and GSW. It’s very far fetched, but it’s more realistic today than it was yesterday.

If Booker has essentially asked for a trade, would you then?

Nobody wants to come here....YET.

Let's pair Ayton with JJ, Booker, TJ, and perhaps a young PG and then see who wants to come here in a few years.
