I think he said something similar regarding the Grizzlies having a hard time getting people in as well. When I posted that hoopshype video a few minutes ago where it quickly went through the top prospects each team had worked out, I couldn't believe how weak their's was.

When did Givony become such a prick? When he moved to ESPN or was he always a prick?

He's had Ayton at the top...either him or Doncic for a long while. I think he is just more surprised because they think he could slide down to 5. But Kellan is ALL about Doncic himself so I'll have to listen to exactly what Givony said.

While i am in favor of drafting a pass first point guard I really am feeling that we are going to take Zhaire Smith if he is there and try to turn him into a point guard (at least defensively). He fits the type of player that McD has drafted or brought in the past. He can cover points defensively and offers a 3pt shot that we are lacking on some other players. I think he ends up book ending the other side of Booker with Josh Jackson.

So Bagley is a lock for the #2?

This is pretty unbelievable tbh. Maybe Divac is going harder with his private workout.
I know they're pretty bad but this is a whole other level of bitterness against a franchise.

 that's too funny. Yea, the bad teams pick earlier and feel that he isn't worth picking there, the good teams pick later and feel that he is worth picking later. That's what you call butt hurt.

The media has no idea who were are taking Vlade has them running in circles. The other day Porter was a lock apparently we love everyone but Doncic so let that add up.

No.

It’s all stupid smoke screens. I have sources telling me that Vlade decided the night of the lottery he’s taking Doncic. However he hates the media since they always troll the Kings so he’s using this opportunity to troll them back.

If I’m right in 3 days, I get a check mark next to my Twitter account right??

Yeah, I'm thinking teams like the Hawks are the same way...they want to pretend they are not high on Luka so another team won't jump them. Schmitz even said on Woj Pod that Dallas thought they might have to trade up for Doncic earlier but now they may not have to. It's smart for those teams to make other teams think you want someone else. Kings probably don't have anything to lose by saying they'd take someone else...but I do put a little stock in the fact that if Bagley was the ONE guy that wanted to work out there and would be happy playing there, and Doncic won't give phsyical info and has expressed he doesn't (I don't know if he has), that the Kings might go Bagley if they consider them equal prospects.

I don’t even think it’s true about Doncic not giving physicals to Sacramento. And if it is then there is a legit reason other than him not wanting to go there for it.

The draft starts at #3 imo and it long has been like that since the night of the lottery.

This is so ridiculous to me, because 3 weeks ago, Vlade, Vivek and others from Kings family were there watching Luka in person AGAIN and after the game they took a picture all smiling while they were out on a dinner. The pic was quickly taken down from twitter but still, why would Kings scout Luka in person so many times while also throwing out the info that they are not high on him lol... Makes no sense. What kind of strategy is that... Traveling to EU just because they can? I am not buying it, i don't think Kings will take Bagley, i would be shocked if they do. Even though it makes sense for them to actually take him before Doncic.

Yeah, as a matter of fact, when someone else posted they withheld his physical from Sacramento, I thought "But he will take a picture with them?" but then thought "I guess that would be a bit rude to say you wouldn't do that, even if you didn't want to play there."

But I did mention above in parentheses that I didn't know if that was true...I had just heard or read that.

The Kings/Bagley thing wouldn't surprise me at all. IIRC every top prospect except Fox didn't want to give the Kings their medicals last year and they picked him. He was the only one who actually wanted to go there. Could be the same with Bagley who seems to want to go as high as possible no matter where.

“This guy is the revisitation of Steve Nash,” Duffy said. “The talent, the work ethic, the team mindset, you would hate to be the one to pass on Luka. He has played in a physical setting for years and has dismantled NBA guys. He has a DNA to him and checks all of the boxes.”

“I think Luka is a dream prospect,” Nash told Yahoo Sports. “Big and mobile enough in the modern game and can guard multiple positions. He has a skillset, a winning mentality and leadership qualities.”

Ask Doncic of the comparisons to Nash, and you can hear the excitement in his voice.

“I see that from myself, to be like Steve Nash,” Doncic told Yahoo Sports. “But man, to be like Steve Nash I need to work so much. I like to see my teammates play better. I like to elevate them, and I know Steve Nash did that. It’s different to compare me to an NBA player like him because that is such a great, great level.

“My favorite player is LeBron. He’s just amazing — he can play from one through four, maybe even the five.”

Doncic paused for a moment.

“I wouldn’t mind LeBron as my comparison, actually,” he said with a laugh.

If he has Nash's endorsement, say no more.

Looks like Knox is off the table. He's going to go 9 or 10.

Unfortunate. He would have fit really well here.
