Knox defensive woes come from being to relaxed and not focused that is not hard to correct. Defending and shooting will be two noticeable strengths shown from him his first year imo that will stand out. The rest of his game will most likely be extremely inconsistent especially if he is the guy the knicks run alot of there offense through.

Sixers senior director of basketball operations Vince Rozman said Knox’s touch stood out the most.

“For his size, he can shoot,” Rozman said. “He can handle it a little bit. He’s really mobile. He’s a talent.”

How can you run your nba offense through someone who can't create for himself or others? Dude avg 2.5 TO's per without the ball in his hands... C'mon...geeesssh.

Rozman ain't no scout... Director of Ops getting hype after a workout. LOL

how can the player get better if you dont run it through them? we'd be idiotz to not put the ball in knox hands especially with no KP. Its called development. Id expect to see alot of the offense ran through mikal as well otherwise he really is just the 3D player he's been labeled as.

Why would you draft someone at 9 to continue to develop them as a role player they need there talents to be exercised whether they stumble or exceed expectation.

Ntilkina couldnt really do nothing with the ball does that mean we should of never been trying to encourage him to shoot and drive and continue to let him pass pass pass? thats not how you get better.

can't tell if you're being sarcastic. He's already a good rebounder with a 7'4.5 wingspan

No he's not. He is a mediocre rebounder relative to his height and length. And he does not have a 7'4.5" wingspan. His wingspan is 7ft. Where are you getting your info?

He's a good rebounder. was able to avg. 9.1 per game playing next to Bagley.

No...he does has a 7'4.5 wingspan. I'm getting my info the official NBA combine page. Dont know where you're getting you're info. You should fact check on your own before correcting someone.

More smooth than athletic. His floater will translate immediately in the nba. That thing is beautiful. He has amazing touch

What?... SMH... LOL.. yea amazing touch... 44 fg% 34 3fg%. So that's what we calling amazing touch now? LOL..... 2.5 TO's without the ball in his hands... and plays no defense....

Again you all crazy
He had no spacing and was congested. Didnt have a guards to give him spacing and shots until Alexander played later in the year.

Shane Battier, the player who won a shytton of games? That guy? High basketball IQ? Defensive stopper? You couldn't even find a worse comparison than Shane Battier? Damn dude, work your imagination.

I can play this game too. Feel free to draft Tim Thomas.

Knicks just need to draft the player they feel has the best potential going forward. The talent level on this team from a scale of 1-10 is probably not even a 5.

I wouldn't trust Zeke with much, but when it comes to evaluating a draft the guy has legit insight. Hope he's right.

No love for Jared Vanderbilt??
The OTHER Kentucky forward.
Or OTHER injured talent that didn’t really get to showcase himself due to injury.
Dude is a legit point forward.
If he’s healthy he might be a steal in the second round.

If he's there then I'd love to have him on this roster. Our 2nd might not be good enough though.

Agreed. Watching him reminds me of Odom. Can play both F spots. Not a great shooter but versatile and a good defender

It's TERRIBLE for Knick fans to wish KP out for the season. What's MORE important is not the fact, KP was injured but the fact, the Knicks did not have a game min limit, which is something Philly LEARNED after Embiid lost TWO seasons to injury.

I have such a strong feeling the Knicks take Mikal, I can bet my house on it. I'll be right if we take Mikal over Knox. I see Knox as a star player, would be a Knicks move taking Mikal with lower upside.

I hope KP is out for most of the season and comes back for the last two weeks to showcase that he is fully healed and still KP. Kinda like what PG did.

Watching this video, I'm actually quite impressed by Knox Sr. Seems like he has a pretty good head on his shoulder, which makes me more hopeful for Knox Jr. In a world where LaVar is celebrated for literally saying anything that pops into his head and people eat it up, it's refreshing to see a dad who cares about nothing else than his son's game. No flash, no drama, just basketball. Also impressing that actual NBA scouts credited his dad on creating his jumpshot.

Also find it interesting that Knox was originally supposed to be a football player, so he was raised to play a rough, physical game but grew too tall for that so they shifted to basketball.

Knox ain't no Alpha he ain't leading your team no where year one or year three. Book it.

Some fyi...

1)Troy Brown Jr. Is the same age as Knox.. and was a leader of Oregon. Played 4 position for them and was mainly the guy bring the ball up and setting up the offense for others...and also play very good defense. No one is reaching for TB at #9..

2)Miles is only one yr older, and better than him in every category and skill.

3)Troy Williams is only 23 yrs old... I highly doubt Knox can put up TWill type numbers he had with us. So between having THJ, TWill and maybe another vet SF... Knox might not get much playing time.

So basically you all want him because he is 6'9 212lbs with a 7'0 wing and 19 (August 11)....... and ball out on one or two workouts....

LOL....SMH
