Dude is a legit point forward.
If he’s healthy he might be a steal in the second round.

If he's there then I'd love to have him on this roster. Our 2nd might not be good enough though.

ive been seeing reports about him rising into the first but i would like him in the 2nd as well. vanderbilt, Frazier, hami or Bonga im hoping one is there 2nd round.

Shane Battier, the player who won a shytton of games? That guy? High basketball IQ? Defensive stopper? You couldn't even find a worse comparison than Shane Battier? Damn dude, work your imagination.

I can play this game too. Feel free to draft Tim Thomas.
Hey thats the nature of the draft right? Unlike you I like both

Wow... a Shane Battier.... wtf? Do you watch basketball? Geeeesshhh... Have you seen Battier played? .... Knox ain't no S.Battier... dude doesn't even play defense...

I figure it was you all types that want Knox.... LOL... this is sad. Very Sad...

No flash, no drama, just basketball. Also impressing that actual NBA scouts credited his dad on creating his jumpshot.

Also find it interesting that Knox was originally supposed to be a football player, so he was raised to play a rough, physical game but grew too tall for that so they shifted to basketball.

Does seem a well grounded kid. His dad clearly did a good job with him. It won’t be hard rooting for him.
He does have a little KD to him, demeanor-wise. But KD is very sensitive. This kid has a stoicism to him that may serve him very well as a pro. The smoke is working on me yo. He’s definiteky vaulted over Miles is my mind.
And that’s not easy to say considering how fond I am of Miles. Draft Knox and then Vanderbilt with our second to be his Draymond Bundini. The kid is barely scratching the surface of gown good he can be. Tobias is smoother and meaner but this kid has a way higher ceiling in my opinion. My first choice is still trade up for Luka but this kid is gaining some momentum.

And we gotta keep in mind, this was allegedly the BAD workout. Maybe the bad reviews were actually the smoke. I don’t think we can sleep on his upside. It’s getting real now.

I’m not sure how one workout can determine who’s better and who’s not. 3 v 3 shouldn’t be the litmus test for who’s a better player.

Some fyi...

1)Troy Brown Jr. Is the same age as Knox.. and was a leader of Oregon. Played 4 position for them and was mainly the guy bring the ball up and setting up the offense for others...and also play very good defense. No one is reaching for TB at #9..

2)Miles is only one yr older, and better than him in every category and skill.

3)Troy Williams is only 23 yrs old... I highly doubt Knox can put up TWill type numbers he had with us. So between having THJ, TWill and maybe another vet SF... Knox might not get much playing time.

So basically you all want him because he is 6'9 212lbs with a 7'0 wing and 19 (August 11)....... and ball out on one or two workouts....

LOL....SMH

Your expecting an alpha @9? youll be highly disappointed every player you look at then unless we get porter and he pans as that #1 player he was projected to be because every single guy excluding Troy williams im going to pretend he's not a name that was just mentioned. :) but every player you just listed is role player material 3rd options maybe 2nd if there lucky. if they become a secondary option on offense thats a straight up steal pick.

Porter - MAYBE allstar, high risk,, high reward
Young- MAYBE allstar, high risk high reward
sexton - Maybe boarder line allstar

if any of Miles, Mikal, Wendell, knox, troy brown, lonnie, carter is your teams alpha

Image

There all more than likely 3rd options on a good team and possible 2nd options if they hit there ceiling and even if they hit there ceiling probably still a 3rd option at best

The alpha section is in the top 3 Ayton, Bagley, Doncic assuming they live up to the hype.

No he's not. He is a mediocre rebounder relative to his height and length. And he does not have a 7'4.5" wingspan. His wingspan is 7ft. Where are you getting your info?

He's a good rebounder. was able to avg. 9.1 per game playing next to Bagley.

No...he does has a 7'4.5 wingspan. I'm getting my info the official NBA combine page. Dont know where you're getting you're info. You should fact check on your own before correcting someone.

Oh my bad guys. I thought the rebounding and wingspan statements were in reference to Knox. Pardon me.

We've reached that point where word leaks of who's likely the Knicks pick, so now those who hated the prospect will now research reasons to make themselves fall in love with the pick.

Same dudes did it last year too. Tons of people in here trying to convince themselves someone that hasn't gotten votes or even been included in some polls since February would be a good pick. He won't.

We have literally a dream team of scouting talents at our disposal between Isiah, Gaines, and Kevin Wilson. I really hope Perry/Mills are utilizing all of these resources to make sure that we hit on this pick.

Not as good as Luka but he was still a pretty solid passer in his prime. That succesful Magic team in the late-2000s would spam the Dwight/Hedo pick and roll quite a bit.

And Luka looks a lot less athletic than a young Manu tbf. Seemed like Manu in his youth could turn it up a gear in terms of quickness and yam it on people too. But who knows, Luka will benefit a lot from NBA conditioning.

The thing is, people are clamoring for Knox because they think he can be an alpha. I'm of the opinion, if you play like an alpha and you can only play as an alpha, then you better be damn good at it (efficient, able to get to your spots, etc). However, if you're not a true alpha, then you better round out your game and be able to play with one (play d, hit threes, rebound, etc). Hell, even alphas should be able to do that, but they get away with it.

Manu was a great athlete. Luka ain't close he's got lift downhill but isn't fast, or explosive. Strong build though.
