Interesting take, first time I've seen Sexton going to the Nuggets. He can fill a need so no complaints but there are others before that need a PG, not sure he slip to 14.

What jumps out at me is having Melton who is without question the best ball handling combo guard in the draft falling to 32 and Troy Brown who is an elite play maker on the wing falling to 28.
Also think Sexton is devalued here tremendously and CLE aint picking the softest player in the lottery in Knox

Doncic at 7, honestly if i'm the lakers i'm phoning Orlando and telling them 6 for Lonzo, merry christmas (cause if nothing else, he'd make the Magic players look godly) and taking Doncic.

I’ve heard time and time again that the Magic want a guy that can score the basketball from the PG position. That’s why I had them go Young over Doncic. Young to me projects more as an alpha scorer than Doncic who to me may never be more than a third option at best

He is but given what Doncic has show, you take the gamble and hope Doncic turns out. I like Young a lot, but you can't turn down the 2nd best player in the draft at 6.

You can if you don’t think he’s the second best player. I expect Doncic to slide on draft day. Bagley is already being reported as a lock at 2 and there have been rave reviews about Bamba, Porter Jr and JJJ. I expect Doncic to drop to the 6-7 range tbh

I think Dallas are quiet high on him so i can't see him going past 5. If he does i think Orlando and Chicago's phones are about to get really busy, so many teams could benefit from him (lakers i mentioned as he would be a great secondary ball handler if we get our trio).

It’s possible, not sure I like the fit next to DSJ and Barnes though. Dallas had DeAndre Jordan all but signed a few years ago, they’ve been searching for a franchise big since. Dirk is cooked and they really have nobody else of note. Bamba makes all the sense in the world to me there

Possibly but they're prepared to max out Cousins, probably the only team willing to max him so i think that would factor into their decision.

Didn’t know that about Cousins but with free agency after the draft it’s tough if they get spurned again and passed on a potential franchise big when they already have DSJ.

Apparently according to Givony, Doncic is as low as 8th on some teams boards. https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/250232/Good-Teams-Love-Luka-Doncic-Bad-Teams-Hate-Him

I miss draftexpress i honestly do. Anyway 8th on some teams boards, wow just wow. As a laker fan, i would hope we're phoning these GM's in that case (work our way up the board by taking on salary or dealing Ball if we're sure this superteam is paying off) to get a pick mid lotto to take Doncic. He's just so versatile and has a winning mentality that i find it hard to believe so many of these teams are willing to pass on him.

Not sure why you think Doncic is a 3rd option , have you even watched this kid? He will be an mvp candidate in the nba by the end of his rookie deal.

I disagree, I don’t view him as an elite scorer at the NBA level. Apparently a lot of front offices agree with me if some have him as low as 8th. The hype for this kid is out of control

hype? he is the most proven prospect in the draft... the hype is for Ayton and Bagley...
I could understand if there was a prospect like Mitchel Robinson still being considered a top 5 pick given he hasn't done anything but has all the physical tools etc, this isn't even remotely close.
Doncic > Harden imo

You just said he’s gonna be an MVP at the end of his rookie deal and said he’s better than Harden. If that’s not hype then I don’t know what is. He hasn’t proven a thing at the nba level just like anyone else in this draft

imo he is on par or better than Harden was coming into the league, and will surpass him by the end of his rookie contract. Harden is the mvp.
Of course he has to prove it, but you are suggesting he is a **** 3rd option??? if that were the case he wouldn't even be in the discussion for #1.
