Sources indicate the Knicks believe Young would be a significant upgrade with a high upside and would snatch him if he fell

2nd report today about us taking Young if he's there at 9. On the other hand, Givony (on the Lowe podcast) said we wouldn't

Young at 9 would be a nice pick.

Everyone trading picks to dump contracts

I bet ATL or BKN is all over this.

Last year, these teams used their cap space to gain late picks in this draft.

What did we do again?

another chance for us to get troy brown.... make it happen perry

Or Okobo or Musa. I’ve given up on the moving up to get Doncic pipe dream. Just getting a few picks in the teens and hopefully landing a few keepers would be a great draft.

I can’t believe that they almost never use their cap space to gain assets.

Should they manage to move up, would likely be potential competition for a wing.

Young with his court vision and passing would be so welcomed, especially finding KP on the perimeter.

And this right here is why I give the VERY SLIGHT edge to Knox over Mikal. After seeing Frank bulk up, I truly believe he can play small forward and a versatile power forward becomes our biggest need.

Or does PG become our biggest need if we declare Frank is not our PG of the future?

Fair question! Personally, I'm hoping Trey can hold it down or by some miracle Mudiay figures it all out but I'm thinking Kyrie comes home next season. thinking & hoping lol

For all those who complain that we're not in the top 5, the player who we draft at no. 9 will be a top 5 player for other drafts. We are going to get a very good player.

Thx HW :D

You say that now, but in two days time half the board will hate the pick because they liked someone else and the other half will be violently defensive of the player picked. This is the calm before the storm...

Some ppl see the shimmy and great 5-7 games he'll play and think we got a great deal.

All I see is missed opportunity.

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't very excited for this class but this might be the most exciting draft day in years because everyone seems so unsure about where players rank in this class.

Porter makes a lot of sense for them as an athletic 4 who can space the floor. They have the depth to cover for him if he doesn't pan out if they're simply just moving picks. Worth the gamble IMO

I have guys I prefer over others, but once we pick a guy I'll root for him to succeed, like I said from Day 1.
