Alice Eve was in the Black Mirror episode Nosedive. It was the only episode I couldn't get through. It was so awkward I shut it off halfway in.

I've not watched Black Mirror even though everyone tells me I should, but you shut your mouth about Alice Eve, good sir.

I didn't shut it off cause of her.

Have to watch it man, it's such a twisted show and everything is relevant in relation to where technology is going.

Much watch show imho.

I haven't been into gaming much in the past few years or more, but I've been thinking about copping a system. I used to be a Playstation guy but if I do buy one, I've been leaning towards Xbox.

PS4 has been great for me. I like their exclusives a lot better as well.

I love the idea of Forza though. I guess PS4 has some great racing games too though, but I don't think anything like Forza, even including Gran Turismo Sport.

Can't believe I've been sleeping on Attack on Titan this whole time. Amazing anime, better than Dragon Ball Z if we're being honest beyond the nostalgia. It's GOT: Anime, essentially.

Anyone else watch? I couldn't wait for the rest of the show to catch up to the manga, so I just went ahead and read all the spoilers from the manga lol. It's freaking awesome.

I've been following Attack on Titan since late 2010 when i first came across it looking for something to read while i was on the toilet during a trip. The art had a melancholy, almost sloppy style to it but the story premise, dialogue and top notch writing hooked me instantly. One of the best manga/anime sagas of the this current era.

re: DBZ....i mean, dragonball z is the grandfather of a lot of things, but it holds its special place. but i can name at least 15 to 20 animes that are better than DBZ just on writing and characterization alone. DragonBall is a fun adventure that shouldn't really be analyzed for its narrative elements or values...Goku was a killing machine as a child, and as an adult he was an awful father (seriously, read the manga version of the Majin Buu Saga when he returned to earth and met Goten for the first time. The anime tried to soften it but in the manga Goku treated Goten like Drake treats his bastard child). It's just a fun story at the end of the day

Attack on Titan though, you can really break down a lot of the themes and narratives. my only complaint about Attack on Titan is Mikasa's characterization.
Spoiler:
She's a bad ass character but I think its sloppy writing that her entire life seems to revolve around Eren. Eren doesn't even reciprocate her feelings, if you look deeper into the story Eren clearly had a thing for Annie before she revealed herself as you know what.

But yeah you shouldn't have spoiled yourself. the manga is at the end game now and the anime is about to show one of the most insane battles in the series,
Spoiler:
the rooftop war.

this so far is the best scene in the series to me (from the anime. the manga has way more crazier **** then this lying ahead):

I keep watching that scene over and over, and not only that, but different people's reactions to that scene. Seriously one of the best scenes in any show I've ever seen, not just anime. It's just haunting. And the score is absolutely epic.

Would suggest spoiler tagging it just in case anyone is watching but not quite caught up to these points in the story lol.

My other favorite scene is
Spoiler:
Levi effortlessly destroying the Female Titan in like 30 seconds, when 3 of his elite squad members died trying to take her down, and Mikasa struggling to do anything to really slow her down (who had been the best fighter we had seen up to that point)...he's incredible.
Levi is easily my favorite character in the series. Such a beast, and yeah, I know how much more epic he gets in the upcoming story.

I changed my post, good call

and yeah man Levi is a beast. Every scene he's in he's either doing something bad ass or making a scathing remark towards someone its great

Anyone interested in a build-a-team event? I ran one on another website before... Am thinking of starting a trial one here...

What's the best place to get diamond earrings? Looking for the best value, but good stuff.
