How about Ennis and Kendall Marshall?

what about them? they are fringe NBA players. Ennis was packaged in the Knight deal which we all virtually agree was a bad trade, and Kendall Marshall was cut/traded after getting outplayed in preseason by....Ish Smith. Ish Smith is still in the league, Kendall Marshall isn't.

How about Mike James and Derrick Jones Jr? Stop trying to prove McD is patient with young players who doesn't produce immediately, he isn't.

You are not incorrect, it is unfair to the kids, but this is the standards the league uses to judge young players, even if i am okay with giving them more time before giving up on him but will McD do that? he gave up on Archie even sooner than that.

Also he was a LATE 1st round pick (#29) and 3 seasons/4 preseasons is a long enough time for a guy that's only ever shown flashes.

You've moved the goal post like 3 times now.

Mike James? Derrick Jones Jr? Mike James was a 27 year old 'rookie' and DJJ was undrafted. Neither were average NBA talent to begin with.

umm, there's only 15 roster spots. Derrick Jones Jr was outplayed by Mike James, and Mike James was outplayed by Isaiah Canaan. No GM can give arbitrary undrafted players full patience. Simple as that. But I was never trying to 'prove' McD is or isn't patient- just that your claim about Archie Goodwin was not a very good one.

AtheJ is standing on the table for Smith! I watched quite a bit of tape on him at this point. He is an intriguing player for sure. I love that he plays so big for his size. That kind of mentality gives me major draft wood. If he is there I am about ready to pull he trigger.

However, I am becoming obsessed with the idea of Miles Bridges slipping to a place we can get him. Anyone one know if he even worked out for the suns? I'm probably setting myself up for heart break. But he is too talented to be calling this far. Knox is a fine player but taking him over bridges because of the age difference related potential is how GMs get fired.

Moving what goal post? It is the consensus in the league that Bender and Chriss are busts. I personally don't believe so, I happen to like Chriss and believe he is on the verge to have an Aaron Gordon type turnaround next season. However, try using Bender and Chriss as assets to get something good in return at this moment and see what you can get? probably nothing good so Bender and Chriss can safely be chalked as draft duds by McD and blemishes on his drafting resume.

That has no barring on him. Lakers are super trash and their organization has been since winning the title, however no one talks about their drafting failure and three number 2's in a row, with Ball and DLo looking like misses and Ingram has been OK. It doesn't fit their narrative. No one is coming here, but we have what look like a solid core....build it they will come.

Mike James is 27!!!! Really?

And the Suns were the only team that gave DJJ a shot at all!

Bad examples. We have one of the youngest rosters in the league. We are statistically giving more PT to young players than basically everyone. We had the youngest starting lineup in the history of the sport at one point during this. The FO has been plenty patient. Certain fans have not.

you seem to be waffling.

first you used Bender and Chriss as (premature) examples of McD's poor drafting capabilities; and now you are using them as examples of how McD will make poor (prospective) trades? So which one are you going to choose?

secondly, if Chriss or Bender get traded for a high draft pick, then that generally points to them having high value atm- not the other way around.

On top of that, I'm failing to see how Chriss or Bender are examples of McD being impatient. He drafted long-term prospects knowing it wouldn't help us win today, has continued to play them through criticism to himself and the FO, and has not dumped them as many fans have pondered in various trades. I seriously think this might be Amin.

Nichols is a joke, putting warren into the same conversation as bender to make it seem like McD made a bad pick? I'd take Warren over Wiggins who went first

Yup. Wiggins might be the worst contract in basketball in a couple years. Yet nobody discusses it on ESPN's horrendous basketball show.

ESPN is considered a joke too, and especially that pathetic excuse of a show. Like she knew who Greak Freak and Gobert were at the time.

In a game of Marry / **** / Kill ... I'd **** and Kill Rachel but I'd marry Lindsey Smith.

Lindsey seems like a cool chick. You could play video games with her, go to the gym with her, and she'd get along with your friends. She's a keeper.

Rachel seems like a bitch. She's the kinda girl that gets drunk off two mixed drinks and then tried to start a fight with the bouncer. Then (after she gets you both kicked out of the bar), she asks you why you didn't beat up the bouncer. The next morning, she changes her profile photo on facebook and posts some passive agressive **** about you.

(Yes, I've had experience with both).
