Dallas wants our pick so they can draft Doncic. We have started to act as if Doncic is our priority but it could very well be a smokescreen to gain as much value for our pick as possible.

Me too. Just keep Doncic when he falls to us, then try and move back up using #19 and #30. I'm still holding out hope we can get #14 from Denver or #15 from Wiz.

I think it's clear we see the need for dynamic playmaker and scorer. I think the Hawks are good with Doncic or Young. If the Kings take Bagley then I think we take Doncic and move on. If they take Doncic then I think we may take Bagley but i think we'll be in full court press to pull off a trade that nets us Young and another lottery pick.

There's nothing they could offer that should be enough for us to move off a guy we think can be great. We can't be cute here. Draft the guy we want at 3. Play around with the 19 pick and whoever on the roster to move up.

Yes. When it's all said and done we are going to have one of the top 10 guys. While there is an outside chance we can get 2, i see people thinking we somehow land 3 which is crazy.

I'd be okay with unprotected picks from the 2012/2022 draft class.

Doncic = Young + future 1sts.

Hell, we're still in asset acquisition phase as far as I'm concerned.

Ayton, Doncic or Bagley an then trade up big time. This is likely the most loaded draft in the next three. Take full advantage. I love Schro but if someone offers a late lotto take it. Prince is my SF but a late lotto and take it. Same for Collins. Should be able to get some draft assets just with cap. Add one or two of the above and it becomes a historic NBA draft for the Hawks.

Hum, I'm in with Dennis for a lotto pick, OK with Farried+14th, or/and Gortat+13 for 30 (maybe not 19, why helping too much a division rival ? )
but I'm not OK with John for a LATE lotto pick.
He has more value than that. Even if I'm not a fan of PER :

I just read something about having Dallas take Bazemore or Dennis with #3 for #5. That better not be the case. I'd be royally pissed.
Do not devalue the #3 pick by attaching Dennis or Baze, you want extra picks if trading down.
Better yet just keep Luca.
