Draft day food/beverage
So since we are just nit picking the smallest of things in the draft thread It would be fun to ease the tension with seeing what everyone is going to eat and drink!
Im thinking Bud light Platinum and chick-fil-a with that tasty Polynesian sauce....

A Starbucks latte with my winnings from the Ayton bet.

Re: Draft day food/beverage
I've got an old mate driving down to watch it with me. Lived with him in Toronto in 2009 and we've shared a ton of drafts together.
We'll be on some US beers...probably Budweiser as that's the only cheap import unfortunately.
And we're doing hot-dogs, nice and simple.

As someone living down that way with heaps of polynesian friends, I'm curious what this sauce actually is!

Re: Draft day food/beverage
I have to work Friday so i can't get trashed. I'll save that for Friday night.
I'll probably order a pizza since I'll have to rush home from work.

Not exactly sure where to post this, but does anyone know when the first pick will be made? I know the draft starts at 7ET, but is there like a 30 minute intro thing? Trying to figure out how early to leave work lol

I think coverage starts 630ET so the draft will probably start just after 7ET...But don't quote me.
It's 12pm kickoff here in NZ, perfect for lunch and beers here in NZ

Good choice.
I'm going to Majerle's since it seems appropriate, and I'll probably be drinking anything local that isn't Four Peaks because screw them.

Damn shame Four Peaks sold out. I was there 3-4 times a week back when I lived in Tempe, but have been back maybe twice since they sold. I went to Majerle's downtown for the draft in 2016 and was surprised by how dead it was.
I'll probably grab some wings and drinking some Wally from Wren House's recent can release. Definitely recommend them for those that enjoy local brews. Chill little spot on 24th St between McDowell and Thomas. I particularly like their IPAs and Stouts, but I've yet to have a beer I didn't enjoy there.

Wren House doesn't make a bad beer. I've enjoyed basically everything I've had from them. Can't say the same for Helton. I've found Helio Basin sort of hit or miss but I admire the chances they take and their menu is nuts.
I feel the same about Four Peaks, I felt kind of betrayed when they sold out and now I've just written them off completely.

Re: Draft day food/beverage
Can't go wrong with Bud Light Platinum or anything from 4 Peaks or San Tan.
But I'm in San Diego, so I'll be snagging some Bubba's BBQ (Bubba's combo with pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, and a beef rib) + some belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk stout.
(Today is my "cheat" day, I'm supposed to be "cutting". LOL)
