If the question was asked here...or asked to me what I would consider success in the NBA for Ayton, never in a million years would I have said "making it to his second contract". I can't imagine others would either. He will already be a multi millionaire tomorrow, and probably already is considering his PUMA deal.

And that shows IMO that he has a creative mind.

And he is honest...he does not go for typical answers...."I want to be the best" and bla bla bla....

Seriously, I value his talk on a positive way because I find him out of the box and smart.

He could just possibly mean he wants to stay in the league. He wants to do well and by getting the 2nd contract is a way of prooving to himself that he belongs.

I believe he is genuine and he didnt mean, "My success is based on money and contracts."

If anything it was a humble answer. Im fine with it.

I guess we have different interpretations on what is creative and smart then. I'm not saying he isn't, but that answer certainly doesn't lead me down that path of thinking. Quite the opposite unless he's trying to be funny.

I just hope they are high quality shoes. At least they are orange...be nice if the yellow part (and maybe the black part) were purple though. But I guess they could probably ask for different colors.

Hes just asking a question of how you stay motivated after getting paid. I find it interesting.

Trust me hes not going to come into the league and slack off because hes making money.

I think its an interesting conversation and a good question.

I've been saying for months that it's crazy Carter isn't considered a top 5 player in this draft.

SGA is all eye of the beholder and frankly this whole pg class is pretty underwhelming so it's not that much of a shock he would be the first one picked.

I have Carter mocked at 6th and Shai in the top 10.

I think Carter goes high. There are a lot of C's in the top 5-8...but after that it's just basically Robert Williams and Mitchell Robinson in the entire rest of the draft....until A LOT later at least.

Plus, he is actually the C with the fewest flaws imo.

I don't want to over-react but one thing that - if Ryan could find out about these players - who has the passion to get better, win compete and not just "get a second contract"

He'll almost certainly be a Sun which is why I'm a bit concerned. If he wasn't I wouldn't care as much.

Oh my, did you see how he wrote don't instead if it dose not, he may be stupid, lets discuss, how can we let him post here long term knowing he might be special needs or lame brain or something. Does this ring bells for anyone else, I am flabbergasted. :banghead:
