Motivation after getting paid is not even a thought in a winner's mind - that's why its concerning.

I don't think I've seen this big of a favorite in sports odds ever.

I just hope they are high quality shoes. At least they are orange...be nice if the yellow part (and maybe the black part) were purple though. But I guess they could probably ask for different colors.

Yeah, I think adding more purple to the color scheme would improve it significantly.

I wonder if we were ever able to see him.

If we trade up to 8/9/10 and we have a choice between Trae or MP, who do you choose? :o

I dont touch MPJ, the reason he is falling is health issues that may shorten his career or even kill think of Greg Oden.
Just say no to idiots!!

They look good for teens street wear.

The sole looks inappropriate for professional players nor the sock like material.

Yeah, I saw this before the 2013 draft. I had CJ higher than Alex Len on my board.

It's a good thing that they usually only wear the shoes for a game or 2 anyway :D

I've been saying for months that it's crazy Carter isn't considered a top 5 player in this draft.

SGA is all eye of the beholder and frankly this whole pg class is pretty underwhelming so it's not that much of a shock he would be the first one picked.

Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using RealGM mobile app

I have Carter mocked at 6th and Shai in the top 10.

I think Carter goes high. There are a lot of C's in the top 5-8...but after that it's just basically Robert Williams and Mitchell Robinson in the entire rest of the draft....until A LOT later at least.

Plus, he is actually the C with the fewest flaws imo.

I have Carter also going to Orlando!

I can't imagine others would either. He will already be a multi millionaire tomorrow, and probably already is considering his PUMA deal.

And that shows IMO that he has a creative mind.

And he is honest...he does not go for typical answers...."I want to be the best" and bla bla bla....

Seriously, I value his talk on a positive way because I find him out of the box and smart.

I guess some people prefer to be lied to. How can what he believes be the wrong answer and make him dumb? I guess you could say that because he isn’t smart enough to lie and give the same bogus answer. As long as he is motivated, I could care less if it’s money, women, or titles, as long as we win because of it.

He is a basketball player not a politician. Smh

I believe Trae is falling due to lack of teams needing or looking for a PG, combined with the rise of other players up the board. Because of some names rising, other names have to fall, and Trae is unlucky because there are only around 4 teams in the lotto with a need for a PG. I believe it wont be just him falling either, i think Shai will be taken by the Hornets at #11 and Sexton will get snagged right after by the Clippers.

It does make a lot more sense after hearing the interview with CJ and him asking how you stay motivated when you make all that money and have everything. So him being concerned about getting to that 2nd contract if he's worried about being able to stay motivated does make more sense now considering the other interview. And of course honesty is a good thing.

I cant hate at all, i like them.

It is funny because i know some will hate them just because they are Puma and not Nike, and i have a stack-full of picture in waiting for when those people start to try to pick apart why they think the shoe is trash (Like some have already started doing).
