I'd consider taking on Parsons if Perry/Mills believe we cant get a star in 2019. Also I wouldnt part with Frank. Taking on his contract is all the value I'd give Memphis

Doubtful, chances are he's close to his peak at his age.

How old do you think Mikal is, 28? Players don't generally come close to their peak at 21.

Also, Dotson is 2 full years older than Mikal

We just saw a Parsons level contract get moved for an expiring and 2 seconds.

I’ll take it if that happened but there’s no way I see MEM jumping down 4 slots for that offer. Too many teams could outbid us

Not really, Parsons' has two years left and didn't play as many games over the past two seasons that Howard played last year. Dwight still put up a double double last season while only missing one game and he is in the final year of his contract. Parson can't stay on the floor and when he does get on it he's been terrible but still has two seasons left.....very little "level" to it.

If another team wants to take on Parsons' contract and offer pick(s)+players that are better then Memphis should jump at it but I don't see any team stepping up to make that deal other than maybe Philly with 10+Saric/filler. Would they add another future first, they could since they have them but would they? Who knows although if they only have to beat the Knicks offer then 10/2nd+Saric/filler does it.

You’re comparing Parsons to the wrong person. Compare it to Moz.

No, you compared Parsons to what Howard was traded for because Mozgov wasn't traded for Howard and two picks.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

With a lineup of Frank and Mikal we at a disadvantage against Sixers Boston Houston Warriors etc. We need star players on this team to surround KP with. Right now if we draft Mikal we have two roll players around him. To one day will anything we would need two stars either by free agency or draft. So to me we need to swing for a home run now we so far behind other teams.

Thank for your opinion, I assure you it is valued highly here

im a big proponent of KP moving to the 5...but I can't lie the idea of KP and Bamba would be nuts with that wingspan and shot blocking ability.

BKN moves a Parsons level deal for two seconds meaning it cost them two seconds.

And it def is. There are 4 of them - parson Deng Moz Noh

Mozgov has 2 years 32m left. Parsons has 2 years 50m left. The contracts are not comparable.

It’s a difference of 16.5 mil over two years. Are you insinuating it would take require a 3rd 2nd round pick?

I think they’ll pay the price.

It's a shame Enes didn't opt in already, otherwise it could have been Enes + 9 for Parsons + 4, or something along those lines.

I'm not insinuating that, I was just clearing up the misconception that the two contracts were comparable since you said BK was able to move a Parsons level contract. If Mozgov was making the same money Parsons was, I doubt the deal goes through at all. There is a huge difference between those two contract numbers. Parsons contract at this point is probably even worse than Noah's and might be the worse in the league.
