That's a bargain to move up a few spots to get an elite player. You want to get a top player you have to be willing to part w/ pieces.

if you say so...

He wouldn't be doing a good job of being in charge of basketball op's if he didn't

Not really, because alot of things right now are out of his control with 6 teams currently picking ahead of him. Sure, he knows who his desired target is, but he cant control whether or not that target falls to him

Yeah, I kinda know that

Everyone is falling in love with his tools, but his lack of production in college has a lot to do with his 21mpg. Why is he playing 21 mpg if he's an absolute standout? There are more red flags on JJJ than there are on Bamba imo

But his tools!

I'm more than willing to ascribe his low mpg to fact that he turned 18 on 9/15/17, and to him being coached by Tom Izzo.

Let's start a GoFundMe for a Guillotine this time.

Billboards are so 2017.

Yeah, but move up to where, is the question

That package isn't gonna be on the table for #4, when they're trying to unload Parsons

I could see it going to ATL though who pick up two ore assets in the process

i'm hopeful garpax is posturing when they talk about portis as a core piece/too much to give to move up

i do think he's worth more than his value appears to be leaguewide, but given his contract situation and our roster status, i don't know how you would prioritize keeping him over getting the top prospect you covet the most

That is too steep a price unless they are trading up for Doncic or Ayton. Rather see who falls to 7.

It wouldn't be the first time Pax overrated their player that people outside Chicago don't care for much.

If that's in addition to taking on Parsons, it makes sense. I'd still do it but I get it.

I completely disagree. If you have conviction on a guy, go get him. Waiting for the board to play out is defensive thinking.

These guys are all too close - unless they really think someone is in another category. It is still a lot.

Unless anyone is getting info directly from Reinsdorf, John or Gar you gotta take everything with a grain of salt. So much BS and smokescreen going on.
