I would trade a protected future first to get Bamba/Luka + Parsons. No Frank.

Plus keep 9.

I would be pretty excited about the rebuild if we did this, depending on who we draft.

They would never do it without giving up 9. They want to win now.

Would you move KP & #9 if it meant you’d get back Doncic Mikal and La Bomba?

I haven't done enough scouting in the upper tier of this draft to be 100% sure but I probably would. I'm worried about reinjury. You?

In my besart of hearts I want both Doncic and Mikal. Them two with Frank and KP puts us in line with PHI & BOS for future of the East.

Replace KP with Bomba and does that lineup have the same ceiling? Idk. Very tough. KP to me is AD lite.

I mean - it could. But we can't know. At this time, gun to my head I would put money on KP reaching a higher ceiling.

The Knicks do not want Bamba.

Clearly, they have been talking to Memphis and are very confident they can move up if necessary. Obviously, the target is Doncic.

Meeting with Bamba is simply them doing last minute due diligence in the event that Doncic is not on the board, but they want to know if they should still consider moving up at that point.

It's due diligence, nothing more.

Also, Bamba is overrated. He processes the game slowly, is a slow leaper, and his shooting is grossly overrated just because of his size. No thanks.

I would definitely take Doncic over Bamba

Many reports have stated using #4 to get rid of Parsons and nothing about them demanding anything major back.

I don't see that happening. They'll want a pick back to satisfy their fan base.

If Luka is on the board then Memphis isn't trading it. It's been reported by everyone that Memphis loves him.

My read...gotta think that's why the Knicks are meeting with Bamba, since the trade is contingent on Bags and Luka going 2 & 3. Cause if they do then theres not a great fit for Memphis. I love JJJ but I could see Memphis being meh on his fit and readiness to contribute. Bamba is a C and Porter is broken.

Mikal is pretty polished to go in and start for them day one if they traded down to 9
