Yeah if we're swapping #6 and #8 then I would be completely fine. Only thing I don't like is that it hamstrings us at the deadline because we wouldn't be able to trade our pick or the Milwaukee pick for a player at the deadline since we gave their rights up.
It really doesn't seem like a very good deal for the Knicks though. I mean we will probably be better than them next year so then it just comes down to Bender and the 16. I like Bender but you'd think they'd be much higher on someone like Mikal than they would be on Bender + whoever they think might be there at 16.
I think it is fair for both sides. Good deal for they Knicks if the do not love any prospect available at #9.
Bender + #16 + Mil pick is a solid package.
