Clearly, they have been talking to Memphis and are very confident they can move up if necessary. Obviously, the target is Doncic.
Meeting with Bamba is simply them doing last minute due diligence in the event that Doncic is not on the board, but they want to know if they should still consider moving up at that point.
It's due diligence, nothing more.
Also, Bamba is overrated. He processes the game slowly, is a slow leaper, and his shooting is grossly overrated just because of his size. No thanks.

I haven't done enough scouting in the upper tier of this draft to be 100% sure but I probably would. I'm worried about reinjury. You?
In my besart of hearts I want both Doncic and Mikal. Them two with Frank and KP puts us in line with PHI & BOS for future of the East.
Replace KP with Bomba and does that lineup have the same ceiling? Idk. Very tough. KP to me is AD lite.

if tim gets traded on draft night again
lol doubt it. he doesnt save them much money and hes a year longer than Parsons.
what do you think though, you like Bamba more than Carter ?

Was comparing contracts that have like a $10mil per year difference a syntax error, too?
Was expecting some posters to recognize that both have two years of dead money a mental error?
Thinking that contracts that are $10mil per year different are on the same level certainly was one.

I just watched his highlight game vs WV. Man he was cherry picking most of the game and got a lot of phantom calls against WV. He did knock down a few threes that looked rushed, but what else can I point to that make me buy into this draft pick. How can he be considered to play center if he was always leaking out on a fast break?
I also watched his "workout" video with Givony where he didnt impress me there either.
He doesnt have the handles to compare to Tatum. Could you see him jamming it home on Lebron, I dont....he would probably try to lay it up.
I want to draft a guy with a motor and can play.
I would actually pick MJP over Knox even though I havent seen him play at all.
Uploading my strength/weakness video as we speak - should be up by 630. I have other prospects up as well and they all got great reviews from execs that I've sent them to (and former FO personnel like the one I got off the phone with 6 hours ago). I'll post it here and quote you, if you want to check it out?
