Also, it's not eating 50 million because they'll be getting salary back. I'm definitely not sold on moving Frank. Eating the deadweight contract while maintaining a pick should be enough for Memphis if they're serious.

I also don't think this happens.

I would love Bamba but I don't know if Bamba and KP can play together.

Do we even have space for Kyrie with Parsons' deal on the books?

I believe is a project but damn. I didn't realize he was that bad on defense.

Here's the thing...I think it's a no brainer for Doncic but do you take Bomba over JJJ or even Porter?

What you mean "or even Porter?"

I wouldn't take Porter unless Jesus himself came down and told me Porter's back wasn't gonna be an issue

And even then, he'd be like 7th on my board

What do you think of Bamba?

The rawness on offense scares me.

PLUSES
Combines length with excellent coordination, allowing him to block or alter shots with either hand all over the court.
Mobile; a potential five-position defender if he masters fundamentals.
Long strides enable him to cover a lot of ground when closing out on shooters or sprinting in transition.
An ambidextrous finisher who can catch tough passes, though he occasionally fumbles or double clutches.
Solid passer who can make basic reads.
A curious learner and thinker off the court.

MINUSES
Lacks the intensity you’d hope for in a defensive anchor.
Gets pushed around by stronger players inside the paint.
Not the quickest leaper when battling for contested rebounds; usually needs time to gather and launch to elevate.
Weak screener with poor technique, which will hinder his pick-and-roll ability until he improves.
Lacks the strength to dunk over and through defenders the way explosive NBA rim runners like DeAndre Jordan can.
Post-up skills need work; he gets moved off his spots when sealing down low.
Only a theoretical shooter. He needs to simplify his mechanics before he can be considered a threat from 3.
New reality of Son ship!
All who receive and believe in Jesus, given the right to become children of God. Not born of flesh, but born of Spirit. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Glory that came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

If we wound up somehow getting either Bamba or Doncic I'd be ecstatic. A KP/Bamba twin tower frontcourt that could also potentially stretch the floor could break the game.

Knowing the Knicks, Memphis will end up drafting the better player with the 9th pick than the guy we pick 4th.

Look at it this way. Ws profited 130mill from playoff games. We’re getting back there much quicker with top draft talent.

Doncic should be the obvious choice if he's available at #4, but Bamba would be an amazing consolation prize.

I've read a couple times the idea of trading KP for Tatum; I'd consider it if they added at least another 1st round pick and 1 or 2 of their young role players.

Tatutm is a nice player and has the chance to be a perennial All star but Porzingis is a potential generational talent who I don't think has scratched the surface of his greatness on either side of the ball just yet. He has the potential to be the best 2 way player in the game. Regardless of his ACL issue, it would require a huge haul to get rid of someone like KP and Tatum alone isn't worth it. He's actually become slightly overrated since the playoffs. Very good offensive player, no doubt, but he doesn't bring the value that KP does on both sides of the ball. Not even close.

Youre basically saying that KP sucks playing next to

kanter
KOQ
Noah
Lopez

etc.

has he?

I’m sayin’, this makes sense to y’all?
We move up for a center that doesn’t compliment our best player in any way. This is either a trade up attempt for Luka or worse, Trae/MPJ.

I was really warming up to Knox.

Finally narrowed it down to Mikal or Knox. I'd be fine with either, don't mind miles... still don't really have a feel for carter, and think lonnie walker's a reach. Also if MPJ falls to 9 you have to take him barring a serious red flag update.

Oh, and just say no to trae and sexton. Also don't think moving up is an option without overpaying.
