I like bamba but he's VERY raw offensively and doesn't have a good feel for the game on offense. That aspect of his game will have to developed and will take at least 2-3 seasons

I think a lot of people see the workout videos of him hitting 3's,read the sprint time and wingspan but didn't watch him enough at texas

I'm 100 percent fine with this. Joakim Noah wasn't great on offense and the same for Dwight Howard. Putting the ball in the hoop is easy. However, defense and the IQ for it, are impossible to teach.

He's a shot blocking defensive monster as you can see. No MPJ back problems here.

I'm not anti-Bamba. I just don't want to give a big haul for him. If the price was Portis + 7 to move up to get Bamba i'd do it in a heartbeat. But i think it will be more costly.

I don’t think the trade would be with Memphis. The guy the Bulls want is probably the same guy Memphis hopes falls to them.

I feel like this proposals have us giving up too much, but I'd rather gamble than go safe with Carter. I would miss Portis though. He is good and only going to get better. #22 I don't care about because that pick(Mirotic) is the reason we might need to trade up to get our guy in the first place.

If we are movign up and Doncic is gone I'd be thrilled w/ Bagley.

I think the Kings are going to take Doncic @ 2. Just a gut.

What proposal? Nothing has leaked. That Portis, 7 & 22 one is just what people assumed would be needed to make the trade. We have no idea what is being offered.

Luka would be a great fit here, but I wonder what happens with Dunn in that scenario. LaVine can play off ball because he is good shooter, but Dunn really needs to run the show unless he develops into decent spot up shooter. Wouldn't stop me from drafting the BPA though.

I'm not buying this.

Hawks are hardcore rebuilding. They're going to tank even harder next year. They're getting rid of even young players on their team like Schroder.

They're as likely to trade down from the #3 as we are to trade down from our #7.

Their GM on draft philosophy:
“Best player available. We made the mistake one year in Golden State, and I’ve told this story a couple times to people. The highest draft pick we had in my time there in the front office was the 6th pick in the draft, and we selected Ekpe Udoh. And Ekpe actually plays for the Utah Jazz now. But we selected him because we needed a rim-protecting big so we drafted on more of a need as opposed to the best player. So that was kind of a mistake we made. But you live and you learn so that won’t be a mistake that we make this year.

He's not going to trade down in talent, he's going to go for max upside.

It would be great, but you gotta think other teams can pretty easily beat Portis + 22 for 4/Parsons.

If Vlade is smart he tells the owner, you hired me because I know basketball and remind him that owners who want to make personnel decisions are the ones who keep hoping for good luck in the draft lottery drawing.

The first thing I would like to see the Bulls do is trade #22 and maybe somebody to DEN for Faried and #14. Moving up from #22 is their best bet if they're staying a #7. That also gives them a better shot to move up to #2-4 and get Doncic who is the only guy I'd move that high for. Bamba looks great but you have to convince me he can develop the offensive skills so he's not Ben Wallace, not an option moving the ball. Bagley looks good, Jackson looks good I wouldn't move up to get any of them because they're not SO MUCH better than someone like Carter.

I don't think Young is a good fit with Dunn and LaVine, Porter's injuries are an issue but for me the bigger drawback is he didn't play very many games in his one year of college. Without a trade I'd rather go with Carter or Bridges and Hutchison at #22.

But I think there are going to be a lot of surprises before the Bulls pick. Without trades I still think it's

PHO Ayton
SAC sees he's as good as people say Bagley
ATL go for an explosive offensive PG Young
MEM goes for the big next to Gasol and heir apparent Carter
MAVS gambles that he's healthy Porter
ORL takes a need figuring they won't get a better PG Sexton
Bulls the 3 they want and need falls to them Doncic

If you look at how the mock drafts usually go there are very few players who end up where predicted, executives see their rosters from much closer up than the experts and do what they think best

I think a lot of the rumors about teams wanting to move up or down just ignore that most teams don't have the cap space to take on somebody like Parsons, don't have the assets to help another team. It's just posturing by teams and agents.

It would take a lot. They have to sell the trade to their fan base. They need something now and in the future. Not sure I’m willing to give up lavine and or Dunn a future first or two.

What do mock drafts have to do with trusting a web site? Should i not trust Woj because of ESPN mocks?
