They also own the No. 37 pick, which they acquired from Oklahoma City in the Carmelo Anthony trade.

Depending on what they do at nine, the Knicks could go for a big man (Western Kentucky’s Mitchell Robinson or Michigan’s Moritz Wagner) or a guard (Duke point guard Trevon Duval or Creighton shooter Khyri Thomas) in the second round.

Wait what? 37th pick?

Misinformation. We do not have that pick.

Is the Bulls pick the one we got in the Melo deal? I forgot

I want Doncic more than Ive wanted a player in a long time. KP/Doncic/Frank would be a great core to build and hold onto.

it wont happen until memphis is actually OTC. They wont deal it until they know they have no chance at Doncic

Ugh, wanted the Knicks to buy one of the Philly picks.

Yup... Magic is smart... this draft is deep

We should have jumped at that deal

Maybe but people would still say “why are we giving up picks??” if we did.

Guys, if the hoop gods could finally intervene and get us to the #3 or #4 spot in a top 5 class off Ayton/Bagley/Doncic/Bamba/MPJr, there is not a snowballs chance in hell we keep the #9. Just uttering such a thing prompts the gods to regret thinking about giving us ungrateful SOB's anything nice ever again.

Look for Knick to select Landry Shamet in the second round.

Yes. It moved from 37 to 36 when Sac jumped over Chicago in the lottery.

This is why I question people who say he is not athletic enough to guard the perimeter. The kid is a gazelle.

Perimeter defense is much more about lateral quickness and IQ than straight line speed, as evidenced by Westbrook and Harden are both terrible defenders

Those 2 are terrible because they dont give a crap about playing any defense. Bamba's length should allow him an extra step to contest perimeter shots. That all you can really ask for from a big.

Yup. And a 6'11 guy who runs 3/4 court faster than Westbrook, young Wade and Wall? I still worry about the overall offensive game but he hasn't played basketball much . He has alot of room to grow and the tools are there.

When these guys dont know what the pick is it's hard to take them seriously.

Al may be the worst on the beat; unbearable reading his sh*t. Also no way we go Duval, will be much better players available at 36

Not many owners would be willing to eat a 50 million dollar player who is likely to be on the bench ....and they want out from the contract badly. Its got a chance.

I'm not worried about his offense. He can score 12 points a game with just dump offs and lobs right away.
