Teams used to sell picks all the time. The main reason why it was such a big deal is because it involved a rebuilding team, the Bulls, and the Champions the Warriors. If it involved the Kings and the Grizzlies, no would have battered an eye.

It's a shame because I'm a fan of Bell, but he isn't worth all this fanfare. The Bulls deserved the bad press though, because a rebuilding team should not be selling their picks.

Serves them right. Guy plays in the playoffs/finals, yet we can't play him on this crap of a team.

For those privy to inside Bulls info --

What is your opinion of Bulls trade talks?
1) Are we even in the ball-park to get a deal done?
2) Think it would be a fair deal/overpay/steal?

Thanks

Is it me, but has JJJ flown under the radar during the lead up to the draft?

I really haven't heard or read all that much about him. Whether it be positive or negative stories, his name seems to have been the least circulated.

Not sure what that means though.

NBA TV mock draft had us take Trae Young (Bamba, Porter, and JJJ were off the board).
Working on becoming Titletown:
Bears - 9
Bulls - 6
Blackhawks - 6
Cubs - 3
White Sox - nobody cares :D

I don't know if I want a team to reach for him at #2 or for him to fall to #4, or oh boy, past that and Chicago trades up to get him.

It's def been quiet for him other than that little buzz he got last week about the quality of his workouts.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Hearing Woj say on ESPN that last summer Doncic played with Gordon Dragic whose a borderline all star NBA player and in crunch time of a championship game Dragic starts to defer to Doncic. That says it all to me.

The Bulls are not taking Porter and are hoping someone in front of them takes him. They think the back is going to be something that could be with him his entire career.

You have inside sources or is this just your opinion?

Secondary Inside info - they think Porter will be dealing with back issues his entire career.

I believe this man.

Pax is not signing up to spend the next 4 years giving medical updates behind a podium. Not again.

I'd call Doncic's bluff and take him. Draft is wild so far and it hasn't even started.

I mean, if they take Mannix' advice and that's the decision making process in Sactown it's at least improved on their usual one :-?

Luka is a safe pick. The fans wouldn't hate it. Thing is, at #2, you got Bagley, JJJ, Bamba still on the board. You better make sure you don't overlook one of them.

You can also sell the fans on a trade down if the decision is that opaque.
