I kinda get it if it's a situation like Miles Bridges, who came back for another year but didn't really improve that much, but in the case of Mikal, a guy who has markedly improved every single year, I don't understand
Like, I get the whole "potential" argument, I'm on team Frank after all, but we shouldn't dismiss a player that's proven to grow like Mikal. It's like having someone else develop Frank for 3 years before we draft him, just cause he's older doesn't mean his potential has gone down, it means we have less work to do developing him
I don't know, I just really like Mikal at 9 and I think he has a higher ceiling on offense than some of y'all give him credit for, and is an excellent defender to boot
But what if you take Knox and he develops into Kevin Durant in those 3 years he has on Mikal!?

If Knox develops into KD, I'll be really impressed
He has a better base (offensively) than Mikal at the same age, so I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up better than Mikal in the long run, which is why I have him only slightly behind Mikal on my big board
But also, we don't know how well Knox will develop going forward, whereas Mikal at least has a good history of development, and I don't see Mikal having a low floor to mean he also has a low ceiling, I think if he develops as he should, he can get to Khris Middleton levels offensively, with Robert Covington level of defense, which is a damn good player
