The machines have spoken. Knox the 7th best prospect according to HAL 9000. The comps they found for him, however, are underwhelming to put it mildly. (Note, EU players and MPJ were excluded from their analysis).

I am not crazy about Knox especially at #9. A wing with that size that gets that few blocks/steal/rebounds tells me a lot. The eye test backs that up too. His offensive game is not that great to make up for it.

But if he’s our guy I will root for him and hope for the best.

he doesn't come across as the most intelligent cat either. If we are building a defensive identity I don't see how you pick Knox over Mikal.

That would be my biggest issue with the pick, because they continue to say one thing and do another. If you want to talk a big game about the knicks getting back to being an elite defensive team you can't be picking knox over mikal...its just that simple.

I'd give up an unprotected 2020 first to not move Frank this year, not giving up a pick next year, and moving up to 4...and I'm someone who is vehemently against trading unprotected picks.

Amazed if we give up BOTH Frank and 9 AND take on a 50 million sunk cost of a contract. This is a deep draft and the value at 9 is not stratospherically different than 4.

we as knicks fans inflate Franks value. I dont think other teams look at Frank the way our organization does

Part of that we would be faith in a strong 2019-20 season performance due to picking up someone like Kyrie to pair with KP and our 2018 #4 pick (Doncic or Bamba)
