The Grizzlies aren't trading that pick (they nor the Hawks never really intended on it). The Grizz will be taking their talents to Mo Bamba. This is just the medias opportunity to make ugly Betty's feel like prom queens. Since we're likely to stand pat at 9, let's stop stroking the egos of some of the intentional, habitual blemishes on the league and I'd like to start here:

The Knicks have told some agents that they are strongly opposed to signing any free agents to long-term contracts this summer. The idea, it appears, is to preserve cap space for 2019. So it wouldn’t make sense for the Knicks to take back Parsons in a trade because his contract would clog their cap for the summer of 2019.

Kyrie isn't injury prone. He had 1 injury in the last 3 years

He averages around 60 games a year. If you are injured 1/3rd of your time in the league, I would say you are injury prone.

He made Lebron better in Cleveland. His presence helped vault the Celtics' extremely young core to to a hard fought, game 7 loss in conference semifinals against the best player in the world. I'm not saying he's on Lebron's level but he seems to make those around him better otherwise Ainge would be looking to dump him right now.

DSJ, Frank, Fox, and I believe Mitchell all worked out for us or at least met with us so it's either Ball or Markelle and they would have no reason to work out with us anyway because they weren't falling that far... clickbait IMO

In what way doesn't he make guys around him better? You don't think Porzingis would be better if he had a legit guy next to him to take the pressure off? A guy who knows what it takes to win on the biggest stage of them all? This whole idea that if you aren't spoon feeding your teammates the ball that you don't make them better is just false. We got a team full of role players and expecting them to become stars is our problem. Having a true star allows our role players to play their roles correctly, so yes Kyrie would absolutely make his teammates better. Limiting THJ's role would instantly make him better by allowing him to be who he truly is, 6th man!
