MOAR PICKS! i'd be thrilled for more picks.

Not taking much from this tweet, unless there's more detail. Any team currently without a 2nd-rounder is, of course, going to want a 2nd-rounder. Now, if the tweet said the Bucks wanted another 1st-round pick, then we're talking.

Exactly, I think it should have always been expected that we pick up a 2nd rounder as we've done in previous years. Even though I'd love to see it, acquiring a 2nd 1st rounder would be a big break in trend.

It could also be referring to a trade down for like 19 and 34 from Bud's former team. That would still keep the streak alive. We have to beat out Indiana to take the top spot as we have with the one not making it into the 2nd round of the playoffs.

If we're going to be incompetent, at least we could be the best at that.

Wonder if Delly and Bledsoe are gone and we go with a new PG to pair with Brogdon.

There's no such thing as a reach in the NBA Draft once you escape the lottery. Chimezie Metu is slotted in the middle of the second round of every mock I've seen, but I've heard that the Bucks are smitten with him.

Who is Chimezie?

I forgot who it was but they posted about him a while back when I said “who’s the name we call that everyone would ask ‘what?’” - I’ve been a fan since. It would be very bucks but I would be okay with it.

That was me because he had an African name, long arms, shows flashes on tape, and was projected a lot later. Fits some m.o.'s.

They ultimately had him in for a workout and he made my serious predictions for a second round pick. I wouldn't mind that. But I'd hope they'd learn something as far as their 2nd round picks to be more practical.

Why wouldn't they just draft Hutchison or Spellman over someone like Metu if they were there? Horst said there were a lot of good wings around the area and some are throwing around Brogdon's name in potential trades but they said they wanted more Brogdons. So I'm not expecting the Bucks selecting someone like Metu at anywhere around 17. I may be setting myself up for big disappointment again though.

Do you think Philly would have any interest in Bledsoe?

Should be looking to get rid of Henson instead.

Bledsoe and #17 for #10 would be amazing.

I was thinking Bledsoe for Fultz and Bayless. Yours works as well.

I’m still in on Bledsoe, 17, and Henson for Kemba and Marvin. But, of course I am.

This reeks of Delly/17 for Schroeder/19.

Edit: Money doesn't work, but still.

If the Bucks are using #17 in a trade, then moving Bledsoe and/or Henson would be more productive than Delly. It's probably next year before he can be shifted without too much pain.

For whatever it's worth, Gery published his mock, and within it, said:

League sources insist the Bucks are quite receptive to trading this pick, possibly for a veteran wing man. They have also explored ways to move back (Atlanta has picks 19 and 30). And, yes, the Bucks are also actively shopping veteran guard Eric Bledsoe (to Charlotte for Kemba Walker?). However, if the Bucks stand pat, they’ll likely have their choice of several good but not great shooting guards: Robinson and Smith could be gone, but Villanova’s Donte DiVincenzo, Duke’s Grayson Allen, Oregon’s Troy Brown and Maryland’s Kevin Huerter figure to be available. Other potential picks include Williams and Mitchell Robinson, who shunned going to college, and Aaron Holiday. Wagner could be a “sleeper’’ pick. Put Robert Williams’ name here, for whatever team has this pick. Lastly, the Bucks are looking hard into acquiring a second-round.

Heat interested in Chandler Hutchison. Need a top 21 pick at least since Bulls agreed to draft him I think.
