Porter Jr is absolutely going to be the bust of this draft. Kid has been overrated for years.

as much as i don't want knox, i'll run with him if we go that direction. i'm man enough to say i didn't like the KP pick when it was made either, and now he's my fav knick.

Even without his injury I'm not sold on the kid. I think his skill level is overrated and he's got that soft/diva vibe.

unreal to me that they operated on this kid's back at 19yo

i know it wasn't a friggin fusion, but still .. 19 years old!

massive red flag .. not so much the surgery itself, but whatever he is doing that caused the issue in the first place .. aka did he FIX that issue?.. if not :-?

Yeah, true.

I'm in complete shambles rn. I have no idea who to choose (Mikal, Knox, MPJ, Sexton).

doesn't this guy have severe back issues?

Didn’t see anything about that

He has this severe bend in his spine

He looks like a hunchback. Might be a major issue in years to cone

The Milwaukee Bucks are exploring trade scenarios using the No. 17 pick to unload the contract of Matthew Dellavedova.

Dellavedova is owed $19.2 million over the final two seasons on his deal.

But the Bucks are looking to trade down and not use a deal as an outright salary dump.

The Bucks signed Dellavedova in the 2016 offseason.

your point has been made... many, many times over.

always good for a rebuilding team to have cap space. should be written on a blackboard many times over.

There isnt a player we could take at 9 or anywhere in this draft that would get us to the playoffs next year. thats why i like knox, huge upside and we have the time to let him develop

Definitely. but I'm more concerned about how the organization/ fans will react when he doesn't come out the gate looking like Donovan Mitchell.

nah, lefty. without the injury you don't have the privilege to consider your feelings about drafting MPJ. he'd be firmly in that top 5 conversation with no chance of slippage. he was #1 preseason.

(sorry to talk over you, GEOLINK. i just didn't want to reach back and find that post.)

Again, Mikal D is over-rated, he's long and doesn't get into a good defensive stand, your mama can drive by him although his length helps him recover. B- or B defender at best...slight build.

His defensive stance is great. They won 2 championships with Mikal being at the front of their defense...trapping and forcing turnovers.

Again, I watched him play a bunch, very good team defender with high IQ, his issues with his slight build and inability to stay in front of offensive player on drives will be further exposed at the next level.

Again, good defender but with some shortcomings that will be exploited at the next level.

It depends. If you ask him to defend PGs every game then there will be times he will get beat. If you ask him to defend SGs/SFs he will be able to stay in front fine. I watched almost all of his games. He was usually on the best perimeter guy or at the front of a trap, which a lot of times had him on the PG. More often then not Mikal won the battle. There were times he got beat, but it really wasn’t often. It’s taken out of context because he was on quick PGs which won’t be his primary position in the NBA. Even still, he did a great job defending PGs else Jay Wright wouldnt have had him in that position.

Let's just hope the guys who get paid millions to make these picks are making educated decisions.

Knox has so much potential but he's a project, so he makes me nervous that he'll never fulfill that potential.

Mikal I'm more comfortable with, but I'm worried the most he'll ever amount to is a great role player. Even then, I think he's the safe pick at 9, depending on who's on the board of course.
