I must be ragging on you too much, Nat; you're getting kinda touchy. I'll try to be more sensitive.

what you think about those Vanderbilt shooting splits I posted above, PIF? I know it is still a small sample size, but you can much more easily forgive some poor freshman shooting splits than a lack of rebounding, no? Especially when that shooting does improve over increased playing time/2nd half of season.

I'd be curious to see if any other NCAA player averaged 18.5 rebounds per 40 over a 14 game stretch in the NCAA this past season?

Those splits were extremely interesting; in fact, he's an interesting player -- no doubt about it. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise -- just not to draw conclusions based on 234 minutes of PT!

Health is one, & non-shooting is another. They compare him to Kevon Looney as same type of player (but not putting him on Looney's level, btw).

Right now, my real problem is that I want every single player in this draft!! I don't know what it is this year, but I'm completely around the bend.

CONCLUSION: JARED VANDERBILT IS CANNOT MISS... because of the rebounding.

CCJ TWIST: I don't know much about JV but I LIKE HIM BETTER THAN ROBERT WILLIAMS OR the other kid 28 year old freshman...name escapes....

TREVON DUVAL is VERY SEVERELY UNDERRATED.... Grayson Allen is a bust waiting to happen if he goes round one. Duval is a MUCH BETTER PROSPECT and the best value. Wizards would do well to draft him in round two.

Bagley at number 2 ... I THINK IS GOING TO BE LIKE CARLOS BOOZER MEETS LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE....good scorer; NOT a generational talent.

Bagley will go 2 or 3 but should go AFTER Jackson Jr, Bamba, MAYBE MK BRIDGES, ....and DEFINITELY AFTER DONCIC.......Ayton will be good but NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO BIG MEN in time...Bamba/JJJ

My interest would be to look for expendable players. Phoenix drafts Ayton, must off load Alan Williams/or Bender/or Chris...Charlotte drafts Gilgeous Alexander means SOMEONE is available. Better player bad contract swap possible. .....Kawhi/Lebron gives opportunity to jump in as third team...


Try to buy low ... sell high....get a grittier, more athletic in frontcourt team.

DONTA DiVINCENZO and ZHAIRE SMiTH are in my mind.

GARY CLARK IN ROUND two, along with OMARI SPELLMAN.

Cannot go wrong bringing in Jevon Carter....

Round two has another Millsap, maybe two (Clark and another). There's easily a couple Jimmy Butlers ... Trevon Duval...He's trending WAY WAY up in my mind... don't know why.

Will be VERY interested to see where Rick Brunson goes. NOT ABSURD PICK at 15 IMO...
