Idk if I was MEM I would've called both DAL and ATL and said hey i'm picking Trae Young at 4 unless I get something too...they could've walked away with #5 and a second rounder or two for the #4 pick

I absolutely love it man. In my opinion best organization to grow up and develop your talent. No other owner will show you more support than Cuban probably. Also having Dirk there will help him a ton

This video confirms that it's pretty much the ideal scenario for Doncic (debatable with going 1st). Carlisle clearly knows Luka's game very well, Cuban has been searching for his next franchise player for ages and who better than another European, and Dirk seems willing to accept a role helping Doncic grow.

P.s.: I do really wonder who made the Kings' decision to pass on Doncic.

Aw man I think you underestimate Cubes desire to land a star free agent. Guaranteed he will still pursue Cousins even if Bamba was the pick.

Rick literally said in press conference that they don't want or need picks, they are happy with what they have and want to start winning. I guess their plan does not match yours

But in all seriousness, i do trust they have some kind of plan for the future aswell. They wouldn't have done this otherwise. Cuban is no scrub he knows what he is doing.
