Did we pick him for us or for someone else?

Interesting pick for me. They gotta be high on his character or packaging him to SA.

Yeah. He's more of a SAS kind of guy than a LAL kind.

I’m willing to give the scouting dept the benefit of the doubt, they’ve earned it

I mean, the board was pretty damn bad at this point. At the very least, he's a rotational big.

We could probably have had him in the second round.

Seems like low risk low reward guy.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

Wagner will be a stretch 5 with us... He can hit 3’s, rebound and has a high basketball IQ... Decent passer too... He will be in the NBA for 10 years... Safe pick...

Terrible choice. Doesn't fit our style of play at all. He's slow, a terrible rebounder, and not an athlete.

He's prolly gonna play C and i guess we're loading on Cs who can shoot assuming we keep him. Means its more likely we're thinking of keeping Randle since Wagner has range.

So far the Lakers scouting department has done a bang up job in recent years, so i'm confident we'll get 1 unexpectedly good player from our picks.

Although i prefer raw athleticism from a big personally.
