I have less of a problem with positional redundancy when we're talking about second rounders. Are we really all that worried about both of these guys panning out into rotational players? Doubling down on your biggest need doesn't seem like a terrible idea.

I've seen Kyhri being mocked in the first round as late as this morning, so I'm actually looking forward to see how he is

This, when it comes to 2nd rounders its really a bonus if those guys are even on the roster after their rookie year.

In addition, in this particular case I don't even consider it positional redundancy. Kennard/Galloway isn't exactly a fearsome duo.

Makes ya wonder if they're entertaining offers for Luke.

Last time we drafted 2 SGs in the 2nd round was Kim English and a guy named Khris Middleton.

I agree fully except I'd rate our need for a SG certainly below a SF and PG. Bullock and Kennard seem way more solid to me than Stanley and mayyybe Ennis if we bring him back?

Maybe Casey plans to move Bullock to the 3.

They at least make it an option now (if either shows promise). I could also see them trying one of them out at PG, especially since Ish is a liability on defense.

Reggie is a 3. He played the two some last year because we had to make lemonade from the lemons we had in our wing rotation.

Having no lotto pick has certainly been less stressful, has also kept people losing their sh#% to a minimum.

The picks look alright, biggest thing to take out of this is taking two SG's.... you think coach isn't a fan of LK?

I hope in Summer League we roll with a lineup of Kennard/Thomas/Brown/Ellenson/Moreland for a game that could be interesting

That's disrespect. Kennard's got an insane shot. It's one of the best forms in the NBA.

I wouldn't take anything from getting 2 SGs. We're that thin in that position. Bullock and SJ are SFs. After kennard there's nobody. It's more likely Galloway is getting traded.

Thomas was #1 on ESPN's BPA for a solid 10 picks for so before he went. I was really hoping he'd fall to 42 so I'm happy to land him. Realistically 2nd round picks are scratch off lottery tickets, but if he hits (or Brown hits) it's worth giving up the additional future 2nd.

Brown, who knows, again a scratch off lottery ticket.

I'm really happy with Khyri Thomas, and I think Brown is a good pick too, however I think if they knew they were getting Thomas from Philadelphia they should have went after a SF, like Justin Jackson, I was hoping Vanderbilt would fall but no luck there. Justin Jackson would have been a good risk at 42, guy with upside only dropping because of injury.

Kennard is soft and plays no defense. He's a SVG-type of player, lol!
