Well we interviewed him and selected him based a lot on that so I'm sure (hope) we have a plan in place to guide him along.

Exactly. It's not the 90's anymore. Hell, our top pick was wearing a goddamn fortnite jacket. And on top of everything, both of these guys are 18 effing years old. They're kids. Three years from now they'll still be 21 and maturing/learning.

I'm not concerned at all about his public speaking abilities- he's a basketball player, not a politician.

I didn't see anything wrong with his interviews anyway- someone mentioned he might have a mild form of Autism because he wasn't giving eye contact during the interview? How about maybe he's an 18 year old teenager that just a bit shy in nature? If anything, it was refreshing to hear how blunt/direct he was with his answers.

It'll be a good idea for this team to keep a couple of the vets here for at least next season- I'd definitely look into keeping Jack on the team in some assistant coaching capacity or a 3rd string PG, probably keep Lee as well as he's a long standing veteran that can show these kids the ropes.

As much as I like Beasley, I don't think we should keep him around. Same thing with Joakim unless he's fully committed to doing whatever the team asks of him.

As far as Robinson, this kid looks like he has quite the ceiling. With the right developmental program, he could have a potentially bright future as an NBA player.

Can't hate it. Going to be real interesting to see how all these young and (potentially) immature dudes fare in NYC, especially while the team will be under fire from (idiot) fans for losing.

Great opportunity for Fiz and the staff to develop another Whiteside or Deandre Jordan.

I'm not saying it to criticize him. I'm very happy he's a Knick. I'm trying to help him. NY fans and media tear apart anyone with any weakness, and if he's weak-minded, he's gonna have a hard time here. Being young isn't an excuse to be doofy. Frank didn't have sht like this on his social media. The first impression you get when you see his Twitter is "this isn't a mature person". That can be overlooked in Louisiana, but not NY.

Got you. He's just a big kid though. So I'm not expecting Mr. Maturity even with Knox who I am sure has been prepped more. But yeah you make a good point that the media and fans here actively look for this type of stuff.
