From NBADraft.net: Arnoldas Kulboka is one of the best shooters of his generation in Europe. This has always been his calling card ... His feel for the game is great and looks willing to work on his game ... Those things alone though won't be enough to play at the next level ... He has to bulk up his body, be more consistent and be able to learn to do some other things aside from shooting ... If he manages to do that he could be a good 3-and-D player in the future.

How often do Euro stash picks actually come over and play for their team?

We were pretty much told at least one stash was coming. A 6'10 wing, he probably has some potential down the road. He needs to be locked in the weight room.

He needs to add about 40 pounds. That stroke is smooth. Might be an nba player in 3 years or so.

He has range on his perimeter shoot, but outside of this and a decent court vision, he has no future in this league. Even a guy like Teletovic has more tools.
Does not or just can't play defense (and can't put the ball on the floor already in Europe, i can't imagine how it would look in the nba..). At all. As i said already, if they had a lithuanian of this generation to draft, it was Sedekerskis..

Even more disappointing since Antetokounmpo was still available and he has less flaws to play in this league eventually (ultra athletic even if he is less gifted than his brother, with a good attitude in defense).

6'10 guy who moves like a guard, shooter, but not explosive athlete. Needs to work on defensive awareness big time.

Best case scenario - Otto Porter.
Mid case scenario - Omri Casspi
Worst case - Sergey Karasev

Been a while since I've thought about draft and stash, how does his contact work? Does the clock start ticking on his contract renewal now or only once he comes to the US?

Yeah I'm rusty as well, not sure if there have been recent changes to the system. Basically he and the team have to have a written agreement stating that he won't be coming over and they'll keep his rights despite not signing a contract. They'll have to do this each year he doesn't come over.

SF Arnoldas Kulboka, Lithuania
At 6-10 and with a pure shooting stroke, he's going to have to figure out how to stay on the court enough to use those assets. Grade: B-

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nba/news/2018-nba-draft-grades-pick-by-pick-results-analysis-for-first-and-second-rounds/amp/

55. Hornets (via Cavs) — Arnoldas Kulboka, PF

Presumably this will be a stash pick for Charlotte. The 6-10 forward combines a mix of athleticism, positional size and shotmaking. He’s still a raw prospect who needs to develop physically to handle the rigors of the NBA. Kulboka wasn’t ranked in our top 60.

GRADE: C

I see his name and my mind keeps reading it as Avada Kedavra.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody
