I feel the same about Four Peaks, I felt kind of betrayed when they sold out and now I've just written them off completely.

Yup Wren House is definitely my go-to spot, I'm there most weekends. I've driven by Helton on the way to Wandering Tortoise, but can't say I've made a stop there or heard enough good about it to make me pass on Wren House or Wandering Tortoise. I enjoy Helio Basin too, but I'm also just a fan of trying interesting beers. I've heard very good things about Oro Brewing out in Mesa, haven't made my way out there yet though.

Definitely. My pops and I had been going there since it originally opened when I was young, so it's been a bummer watching them fall from grace in the local craft beer scene.

Feel the same about Four Peaks.

I'd honestly rather have a Sam Adams over a kilt lifter.

Don't think it was ever disclosed, quick Google search didn't give me anything

I didn't have to go into work today so I'll be staying at home with a big protein shake and doing some rehab on my finger injury while the draft is going on.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up ordering a grilled chicken BLT with sweet potato fries from The Vig in McCormick Ranch.

Oro is leagues better than Desert Eagle. They're like 4 doors apart from each other and there is just no reason to go to Desert Eagle, it's trash. Downtown Mesa also now has Cider Corps which is pretty cool craft cider if you're into that.

Arizona Wilderness is awesome and their food is amazing, they locally source (and give you exactly where it's from) everything they can and their beer is pretty complex. In case you make your way out that way.

Same, 100%. I avoid Four Peaks at all costs now.

My girl really likes Cider Corps. I haven't been, but it's on my list of places to check out too. I actually heard the exact same thing about Desert Eagle when I was chatting with someone at the bar at Wren a couple weeks ago though.

I love Wilderness, been going for years now. One of the few places that can get me away from Wren on the weekends, especially with how good their good is.
