Lol he does seem like a typical Lakers pick.

Dude they fanbase swore he was the pick in the first round. Type in Lakers Robinson on youtube and see what pops up.

I think Magic got cute and he fuccked himself over. Love it.

He did get cute. And he would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling Knicks.

These Real GMs confuse me sometimes.

Yeah I just saw his Twitter.

Reading through it, he really couldn't handle some Twitter trolls and I think this was partially a reason why he never went to school. He kept tweeting about people not "leaving him alone". His mental stability is going to be one huge red flag - probably his biggest.

He seems VERY shy and insecure. Many young men grow out of that. He will need to.

Knicks need to be smart, shield this kid for a bit, groom him in the G League...

Already sense this kid is a head case and won't be surprised if he gets roped into a bad situation that leads to off-court problem with the law and a suspension.

But before all that, he is going to HATE the NY Media.

These are the type of picks the Knicks should be making in the 2nd round for sure. I'm in the same boat as most that don't know much about the kid since I'm not one to heavily follow high school ball but it's hard not to be a bit excited when you see the kids athleticism and frame not to mention how highly ranked he was in high school. Definitely seems like a 1st round name that fell because of his unique situation. Just like with Knox and Frank I hope the Knicks are patient with the kid.

He def ain't slow. He just has a case of shyness and nerves. He can get over this. It is clear in this video. His answers are all pretty much on point. He is just very nervous about public speaking. He is going to be alright.

Even if he was on spectrum or had a learning disability doesn't mean he will fail or be problematic. People take stuff too far.

I don't know why people are saying the Lakers got screwed on this one. Why didn't they just pick him up in.the first round? Also, they got a second round pick from the Nets. Why didn't Lakers use that pick plus cash to move up to get him if that was their focus?

Because that was they intial target for them since the combine when he withdrew cause he got a promise. The team MOST linked to mitchell by far was the lakers @ 25. THEY DID try to trade up to get him after that...the report came out last night.

He's part of this new generation that does chit like this on the regular. Thats why Knox is so impressive. Well spoken and mature at 18.

Mitchell looked right there in the same tier as Bamba and Ayton. And tbh, he looks superior athletically. His fluidity and verticality is crazy. I don't think we even realize what we have on our hands yet.

Guys like Knox and Mitchell are gonna be the beneficiaries of Frank's unselfishness.

He says himself that he comes from a poor background so he probably didn't get the help he needed growing up. People complaining about his instagram pics are probably not that help.

Im confused how not being articulate means the kid is not intelligent. Give the guy a defined role and I think he can be successful.

Does he fit well with Porzingis? Is he quick enough to guard mobile/stretch 4's on the perimeter?

I'm much happier Fizdale is getting a hold of this kid instead of Hornacek.
