I see nothing even remotely similar to Bojan in this dude's game at all or even his temperament. Better ball handler as well.

Just some things that stood out at me from watching some tapes everybody posted.

At 6’9 I like how he get’s his shot of quick. I also love his craftiness in the lane and his touch. Should translate after getting used to nba length. With our system he should be able to get some good finishes in the lane. Also like his ball handling.

Question marks though is athleticism. He looks like he has great speed and body control, but meh first step and explosiveness. Lazy white comparison but hopefully he can be a Parsons in Houston.

This guy's ball handling ability/potential seems to be way beyond what Bogdanovic can do. He also seems like a better athlete to me, with a much quicker first step. On the other hand, he's not the shooter that Bogdanovic is, and his 3pt shot seems to be inconsistent. Also doesn't seem to have any post game which is something Bogdanovic did have in Europe.

I like most of what I've seen from Musa but his body build/frame and T-rex wingspan is a concern. Hopefully he also takes out the Kobe esque chucker mentality out of his game here in the NBA.

I agree... lazy comparison. Bogs is a really built, strong, player. This guy seems leaner, quicker. not nearly as strong.

I look from a skill & style of play perspective. It's hard to say the body is different when you're comparing a 19 year old to a guy that came over at 25. I'm not going to pretend to know if Bogs at 19 was any stronger than Musa is now. From a profile perspective though, Musa is listed at 6'9, 195 at 19. Bogs is listed at 6'7" 215. I don't doubt Musa can add 20lbs by the time he's 25. In fact, one of the analysts mentioned he needs to add 10kg (22lbs). Both can handle the ball, get their own shot via craftiness, not too athletic, poor jumpers, good shooters and creative finishers. There's never a perfect comparison, but in terms of style of play & future role, they're not far off.

Is it just me or he seems like Klay Thompson lite on offense the way he drills his outside shots, create separation and get off screens?

One of the main concerns about Musa is can he do Musa things against a NBA defenders.

He was a top scorer of the Under 16 European Championship, Under 17 World Championship and Under 18 Europan Championship, basically one of the most dominant players in the FIBA youth competitions ever, but somehow had his worst games against a France youth teams.

Frank Ntilikina and Yves Pons, they were athletic and long prospects and Dzanan really struggled to score against them

I know its probably subconscious but I always find it odd to always compare white players strictly to other white players. I guarantee we can describe Musa (good height, quick but not very explosive athletically, streak shooter, good ball handle) and plenty of black players would fit that bill too

he is a triple threat SG/SF, has great feel for the game and is crazy competitive

when he gain some muscle and become stronger, watch out....he can score in variety ways and iz good in getting to the foul line....defensivley he is liability, should improve in time. you haven't drafted him because od defense, thats for sure.

besides scoring he could be great in secondary playmaking role....thats just one thing why he is much more valuable than bojan (in perspective).
his domination in fiba youth competition is well covered. just google it.....MVP U16 (gold for Bosnia, somewhat cinderella story), 1st PPG in Fiba World cup Under17 (34 PPG on 32 MPG)....ect. ect.

in a few years, he will become steal of this draft. Hope he can crack 18 MPG next season??!

Both Musa and Rodions seem to have an edge to them. Good.

I think you guys got a better prospect than the other New York team. Musa was the best statistical player on a professional Adriatic team at 18, his per 40 line is 21/6/3/2/.61 TS%. His 3pt volume and FT suggest he should be able to shoot, his shooting season was overall very similar to Doncic. Seems like he has good intangibles.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

that's great to know... being that I know nothing of him, first impressions are key and as someone on the court, he looks promising for the Brooklyn Fan.... I hope it translates well into the lockerroom which I feel it will. We got good guys in there.
