no way. if its true that kyrie really wants to play here just sign him next offseason so we can pair him with KP, Frank, and whoever we draft this week. lets build a team the right way for once

The Mavericks have cap room and, depending on the protection on their 2019 pick to ATL, will not be tanking. Maybe they'd take on Courtney Lee in exchange for a cheap player low impact player like Max Kleber or Dorian Finney-Smith. The Knicks clear cap space and open up playing time for young Guards. Mavericks get a veteran glue guy to back up Barnes and Matthews.

Well let's be honest, signing super Mario will be a low key move anyway. I want us to trade for one of Sacramentos bigs like skal or willy for a second rounder. They drafted what 4 bigs in 4 years? Let's be active in the secondary draft.

Mavs going after Cousins or Clint Capela with that cap space.

Somebody mentioned it in another thread but Courtney Lee for Kenneth Faried is perfect.
Faried is expiring and fills the starting 4 spot while KP heals up.

Noah, Lance and Jaramaz’s rights for Evan Turner and Harkless?
Hear me out, we don’t have a legit playmaker.
He expires (Turner) the same time as Noah.
He’s a tough dude that plays a legit three positions and can make plays for others. We have maybe five guys we could conceivably trade Noah for. Biyombo, Parsons, Mozgov, Mahinni and Turner off the top. They’re all seriously flawed players but if you ignore the price tags all (save Parsons cuz he’s always hurt) can help a team in one way or other. We need some creativity on the wing.
I personally feel Noah’s value with us just spiked with what he could bring as a big brother type to Mitchell but if it’s a priority to move him and we aren’t getting an expiring back, I’d look into getting Turner.
