It means the world to me because I'm in the biggest city in the world, the most beautiful city in the world.
Any hidden talents?
Playing soccer. And I can sing. But I won't sing.
Any pregame rituals?
First off, putting on my right shoe first and I go out on court right leg first. And praying to God.
Plays soccer. I'm sold.

Re: ***The Official Musa Thread***
Musa blurting out at the press conference that he could play 1-3, and saw himself as SG and playmaker is interesting in light of Petrovic.
Petrovic was misused by Trailblazers in year and half he was in Portland as a catch and shoot player and was playing virtually no minutes before he requested the trade which got him to Nets.
Petrovic died 25 years ago this month, and now the Nets have another super confident and talented young Eastern European SG who likes to go aggressively to hoop.

Bagley III was born on March 14, 1999. The Kings played that day. They won...against the Lakers which was the start of the Kings-Lakers golden era.

If you can pronounce Jenna or Jennifer, then you can pronounce his name. It's very close to let's say Jennan.

This is the first time I've been excited for a pick since favors. though my high on favors slipped really fast after just a few games where I saw he was not nearly the physical specimen everyone was saying he was. and people on here were creaming their pants when he went up for a simple dunk lol.

In your opinion do you think Musa is ready to play NBA minutes or will he need time to adjust?

Even in Europe for most of the time he struggled to score when he faced athletic and long defenders, and couldn't finish around the basket against long and athletic centers, so if there is a way that suddenly become no issue for him in the NBA where like everybody is tall, long and athletic, yeap, he will score them 20 in his first night.

Its kind of spine tingling stuff
There’s more
Petrovic started playing for Nets in January 1991. The brutal Bosnian War in which Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia were involved broke out in April 1992. And continued till 1995. Petrovic, who was Croatiian, died in June 1993. It must have been very intense for him
The war ended after Bosnia and Croatia united against Serbia.
Dzanan was born in 1999. He says he did not really know about Petrovic until he went to Croatia. But snce December 2014, he has played with Croatian team Cedevita, and learned with what reverence Petrovic is thought of there
A good article about Dzanan on other site describes that when he was 16 he led the Bosnian 16 and under team to a magical completely unlikely championship at 2015 FIBA Europe championships.
Hie has already been on magical ride in his career. And getting signed by Nets must have had a particular resonance for him.
“Then, the impossible happened. They won. Musa sank the final free throw with 0.01 left to seal an 85-83 victory over Lithuania , collapsing on the floor in tears. He finished with 33 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks ... and was named MVP of the tournament.
Meanwhile, back home, Bosnia exploded. A celebration was scheduled for the next night when the team arrived back in Sarajevo ... with Musa carrying the championship trophy. An estimated 50,000 residents flocked to the center of the city for an emotional impromptu celebration. The celebration was described as the biggest party the city had ever witnessed.“
He’s going to be an interesting kid to watch

Mine is the dummy version taken from the basketball references website. But I think they may be right that it’s more the vowel sound in “on“ rather than the sound AH .. for what it’s worth
The J should also be more JZH but that’s too hard

The first name is not difficult to pronounce. "Dzan" is prounced "John." Then the "an" at the end is pronounced the same way that the word "an" is pronounced ("An" umbrella.) It is not the "en" sound you hear in "Ann."

Most other teams this late are good teams where he might get buried on the bench forever. The bad teams with mid and late picks have blue chippers ahead of him and high picks this year, this team has none and will focus on him. Plus we're great with player development and will commit to him as much as he commits to the team. Lastly, we have a big need at small forward and there isn't much pressure here, though there is accountability. And actual lastly, in Brooklyn, NYC, NJ, the whole Tri-state, no matter where you're from, there's a large population of your people here to help ease the transition. As long as you stay clear of the hanger's on and the gangsters, you'll be good.
The other good team would probably be the Spurs, we're kinda an offspring of that. Kenny and Marks have international experience, that should be a plus. Petrovic probably helps. Luka has been compared to him, both Luka and Musa look up to him. Now Musa has the chance to be the next Petrovic, that's real nice.

No joke. Those assists look terrific. Almost got a triple double.
