Nobody plays hitball more than watchball quite like this guy:

i saw him mentioned in a Fangraphs chat earlier this year. 92.3% of his career minor league plate appearances have ended with a ball in play...that'd be abnormal in 1920, never mind 2018.

Another good start from Jon Harris - 6.2, 6H, 1R, 1ER, 0BB, 7K - didn't give up that run until the 7th inning. His K/BB is 55/14 in 75 innings. Has a ways to go, but somewhat encouraging his last few starts. A right-hander with better splits against LH batters. His June record so far in four starts is 3-0, WHIP 0.91; ERA 2.74; 23K in 23 innings with two walks, and opponents hitting .218. That's significantly better than any period in his pro career including the first two months of this season, so we do need a bigger sample, but maybe Vince Horsman is righting this situation, Taking just Harris' last three starts...

Groshans' impressive start continued today, but he was pinch run for after singling.

Also, Cal Stevenson seems way too advanced for the GCL. He’s 21, send him to Bluefield or Vancouver already.

They need to make room for Miguel Hiraldo before he gets charged with child abuse in the DSL

TJ Zeuch seemed to be going along okay, then gave up 7 runs in the 4th.

It's a real positive that Biggio has been hitting well against lefties; he has splits, but nothing crazy.

Also, Bo has a home run and double, because Bichette is Fine.

He’s now added another double and a steal of third.

24-30 in steal attempts.

Didn't I hear that they got a new camera last week? This looks like it was shot on a Motorola Razr.

In his last 32 games, Bichette is .341/.394/.585. Has 6 home runs, 10 doubles, and a triple. 25 runs and 25 RBI. A wRC+ of 169. A strike out rate of 10.2%. And 15 steals in 17 attempts. Only negative is he's randomly had 7 GIDP over that stretch.

I am anticipating to see both Bichette and Guerrero (maybe Biggio too if he can get out the slump) to got promoted to Buffalo around the MLB non-waiver trade deadline...

The question is, who will be deserved to take those empty spots in New Hampshire? Maybe Kevin Smith if he can cut down the K% soon, but that is about it.....

I'd take it slow with Smith. The swing and miss is real...let him see out this year in Dunedin, and then begin next season in AA. Would guess that the spots will be filled by organizational types for the time being.

Yeah, the Jays are flat stacked with SS prospects, but outside of Bo they don't really have much in the way of middle to upper minors. I wonder if they send Urena there. Defensively he's been okay, though I haven't seen him in the minors, but he's basically the current Russell Martin without the walks at the plate. He might even become one of those organizational types over time.
