It’s because Dre is getting traded for Trey Lyles. 8-)

Where are you getting these? Do you have them for Hall and Hervey as well? I was curious how tall Hall was. I'd seen everything from 6'6" to 6'3"

The Charlotte Observer reported that the Hornets will receive a 2019 second-round pick and cash considerations from the Thunder.

Must like him quite a bit to surrender that. Probably flames out like nearly all of our other second rounders anyway. Hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

So after the dust has settled a bit what is everyone thinking about the players OKC drafted? Strengths, weaknesses, projections, etc....

I'm thinking Presti may just get his chip. the blue are putting the finishing touches on a championship contender.

Their weakness is the game of basketball as compared to NBA players. Their strength is getting paid to play in the G-League. Projections are they all stick in the G-League for a few years and/or move on to Europe. If they play a combined 100 NBA games it will be shocking. Best case scenario is Diallo becomes Huestis.

Hervey peaks my interest the most. If he can be a competent team defender I think he could earn minutes fairly easily.

Diallo is still very young and very much a project so we'll have to wait and see. There were times last year when he didn't look like he belonged even at the NCAA level. He showed up big time in round 2 and his defense got better as the year went along.

I think Hall is fine but I don't see how he gets minutes next season unless we let Felton go and refuse to sign another point guard.

I never heard about this and I’m not really sure what to think. That being said, how about Melo for Parsons and JJJ? 8-)

I think Melo gets traded. It’s just a matter to who for what and it probably ends in a buyout.

Whom?

Well, now when it's obvious that my prediction was not correct... OKC told a certain Euro big man (played in NCAA last season) that they would be drafting him with 57th. A week before the draft he was quite confident that he'd be picked by OKC. I was a bit skeptical though, as many teams have told many things to draft prospects, things that turned out not to be true. Seems like this was one of them, he remained undrafted.

Wonder if he might wind up on the summer league team or the Blue.

Same here. Was wondering what everyone else thought about Hervey. He’s got size and athleticism and he shoots the ball well and he is a pretty decent defender. I wouldn’t be surprised if he earned rotational minutes, especially if Grant isn’t coming back.

Because he was drafted before they picked?

It takes a 15 second google search. Try it next time.

Diallo - 45
Melton - 46
