Man Please many people talked about him. he just was not a reasltic target so nothing was in depth much. We would have not picked him @ 9 nor did many people think he would slip into the second. People talked about him going back to January. Dont pat your self on the back to hard. You not special.

Plus, some of us were not able to talk about him. For reasons.

It could have been anybody. a 7'1 center that can draw his man out to shoot in his face is good money. Dont worry. Ayton wont be the only big man he drains one on....

If it wasn't for his decision making he would be a lottery pick. Kid needs a mentor

I haven't seen him play. Saw sone nice clips but, watching the presser, is he slow? He looks like a brainless serial killer. His answers were monosyllabic. He looked like he didn't understand English. He couldn't articulate one sentence.

Knox...he could express himself. Just looked like another dumb jock who got paid.

Neither one appear to have a high IQ at all. I'm not happy with tks draft at all right now.

Hard to say how anyone will pan out at that age. The best we can do is draft based on talent and hope, with some guidance, age and wisdom works itself out

Where he shouldn't have slipped past IRL is Portland. After assembling that nice team with Aldridge and Lillard their management has been hugely disappointing.

Anfernee was a weird pick for them. I like him. But why take ANOTHER 6'4 scoring Guard when you have two already. A big or wing should have been def higher on the list.

Very nice gifs....and you are right soem of us are just refusing to see the full spectrum of Mitchell's game...Deandre Jordan, Clint Capela, Whiteside are all very good centers but none of then have that ranged jump shot.

Gotta lock this kid up on a 3 or 4 year contract. And hire coaching specifically to work with just him. I'll be honest. I'm a little more excited about Robinson than Knox but I'm absolutely estatic with the idea that our management could have possibly locked up our SF and C position for the future in just one draft. These are exciting times to me a Knicks fan.

I knew he was special. I didn‘t know about his drive.
Now, really, look out NBA (well, G-league first).
Thx 4 that post.

Depending on how he looks in the summer league he may not need the G league.

Pretty fair assessment. I still think this kid isn't a fan of big cities...and has a hair trigger when questioned in an interview. Hopefully I'm wrong.

The only question I have is, Woj mentioned mentorship, who's gonna be that for him on this team? I have confidence that Fiz and his coaching staff is gonna be big for him, but other than that I'm not sure which player is gonna be able to take him under his wing. I'm not a fan of Kanter at all, and I'm not even sure if Noah is the right guy to mentor this kid.

In all seriousness I think LT is gonna be huge for these guys. Players around the locker room speak very highly of him. I was specifically thinking about a big though, which is why I wouldn't mind O'Quinn coming back on a cheap long-term deal.
