Yeah I suppose, just not sure why this would be in the draft thread then. I also don't think he shared that much other than to say he will add 30% new offensive sets with different terminology, playing 5 out vs 4 so obviously looking to open up the lanes and also have JV shoot more 3s.

Disagree that Jackson went to high but he is potential at this point, which doesn't make sense for a Memphis team that wants to contend next year & have no pick in 2019 where they would like to convey a late pick before it goes unprotected.

That wasn't my grading. I responded to it. Memphis took potential at their pick where they want to contend. They have to convey their pick next season before it becomes unprotected & they would obviously like it to be as late a pick as possible, so the question I was posing here is, how does a raw big with potential help them do that?

Charlotte who was rumored to like both Sexton & SGA, traded SGA & drafted Devonte Graham 34th. They now effectively have 4 point guards. Walker, MCW, Graham & Paige, with Walker expiring.

Did they draft Graham to backup Walker along with 2 other PG's as they state they want to build with him

or

Did they trade SGA who they were interested in because they can or are willing to trade Walker for Sexton.

After moving Howard, Charlotte doesn't have much in their front court to really make much of Walkers final year either way.

It took me a while but I finally found an example.

Funny enough it was Memphis who traded Love for OJ Mayo

On top of it all Jackson first refused to workout & give his medicals to Memphis. He supposedly changed his entire outlook after they laid out his future with the team. What could they possibly say to sway his original decision to not play for them?

IMO that future could have had a trade explanation in it.

At the beginning of the season, when the Memphis Grizzlies went on their infamous losing streak, Miles Bridges’ name came up as a possible draft target. However, as the season continued to spiral out of control, the Grizzlies were a range above Bridges.
However, don’t mark him out as a potential trade-down candidate, as the Grizzlies could look to accumulate more assets.

If the tank didn’t go as planned and they fell in the 9-12 range, Miles Bridges would be a perfect fit for the Memphis Grizzlies. He’d slide in perfectly as an explosive, athletic combo forward. In that role, he could eventually evolve into the modern-day small-ball 5 — a role we’ve seen Draymond Green and PJ Tucker thrive in.

The Grizzlies have lacked an athletic scorer from the wing since 2013, and Bridges could surely fill that hole almost right away. In addition, they would employ a promising wing trio of Miles Bridges, Dillon Brooks and Wayne Selden. It would give this team more options for small-ball lineups.
Unless the Grizzlies trade down though, Miles Bridges won’t be repping the Beale Street Blue.
