For somebody that's done so little, Grunfeld really thinks he's basketball royalty.

Our roster is so stacked, there's no conceivable way we could have room for a 2nd rounder , also major lulz for his comment about how deep the roster is and how we need to keep roster spots open.

Dude, you went with 13 players down the stretch, leaving TWO roster spots open, now we don't have enough room for a 2nd rookie?

He is so full of himself when mentioning Sato.

Drafted over Green, Barton, etc, Sato gave the team nothing for years and has become a decent, replacement level player (sorry in advance Nat).

He seems to hold that up as his crowning achievement.

Where can I donate and sign the petition?

Don't understand this pick for you guys with Melton on the board. Makes no sense.

Sato is not a replacement level player, but carry on.

Because we knew we could get Melton as an undrafted!

Nba draft.net had him ranked 35th and we picked him at 44. Must be a good pick according to all the RealGMs here, right???

An update: Issuf (just turned 20 years old on Oct 30) has moved back to BC Dnipro for this season and is shining with more consistent playing time/role

Here’s a scouting report from a Ukrainian sportswriter.. seems consistent with the Wizards trying to develop him as an off-guard (NOT a PG) in Summer League

Trying to find a way to watch a full game of theirs when I’ve got time .. Sanon looks like an exciting talent and certainly has NBA athleticism

Youngster has got some game. Nice 3 ball shooting off the dribble and sweet handles on drives to the basket.

What I like most though is that physically Sanon is looking more and more like a grown a** man. He looked like a skinny little boy when he was drafted. :)

Yeah, I like the aggressive physical style and scoring ability, but don't see a lot of passing in his highlights - definitely looks like a player who prefers iso ball. While he finishes strong on the highlights, I didn't see much above the rim stuff - even though he does seem athletic. If you're strong and crafty, you really don't need to be very explosive.
