Roberson Recovery

Post#1 » by Luigi » Tue Jun 26, 2018 7:27 am

Hi Thunder fans. I was just wondering what you all hear Roberson. You guys looked legit while he was in the lineup earlier last season. How's the patellar coming along?
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

he had the knee scoped a few weeks ago to address swelling, and the thunder message was the tendon itself was progressing well. whatever that means. we've been here before when kevin durant had an additional procedure done on his foot and the team insisted the break itself was healing "perfectly". this was a couple weeks before he was shut down for good.

i don't think we'll get an honest accounting of his progress from the team. but the prognosis for these injuries in general is guarded as far as returning to the court at all, much less as the same player as before. roberson said his goal was to be ready for the start of the season. maybe he will be. i'm doubtful.

there are reports he is 'shooting free throws' at the gym. and there was a video of him attempting threes. i can't watch him land without grimacing. has to be rough on him.

Yeah, I reached out to our resident sports medicine insider and he hadn't heard anything—but he's not based in Oklahoma, so it's hard to say.

He's healthy enough to be dating Rachel Demita. Maybe that'll help him recover.

He's gonna be better than ever. r/Thunder has the inside track:

I know a lot of you are aware that Rachel Demita aka the 2k girl is dating one of the thunder boys, the man, the legend, Andre "hacka" Roberson. (In reference to last years playoffs). Roberson is an excellent defender and I greatly enjoy seeing him succeed, however his free throw percentage is putrid! But praise the skies above! This may all change now that he is with Rachel Demita. I'm an avid 2k player and have seen a lot of 2ktv. Often times she is on the court shooting the 3, free throw, mid range and shoots them all well. But most importantly she has mentioned her free throw percentage many times proclaiming she shot high 90s at the line. HIGH 90S. There is no way in heck that she is going to let our boi slack at the line, get ready to see a new player soon enough. You heard it here first.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

Looks like we aren't getting any info on Roberson's progress anytime soon. Sheesh. I am living in San Diego and have not been able to find ANYTHING other than the scope he recently underwent.

If she can get get him shooting 70% from the line. Thats all I ask. Is that too much to ask for?
