LONG overdue. Congrats to the Chessmaster.

The guy is simply the best at assembling talent while maintaining fiscal responsibility. This season was a hamstring away from perhaps a championship. He has completely remade this roster from the Yao-Tmac days, and never tanked in the process.

The best.

The most impressive part to me is that Morey went into last off-season with virtually no cap space and zero 1st round draft picks that summer yet still managed to win EotY at the end of the year.
Has that ever been done before?

This summer will be very interesting to see how he assembles the roster going into next year. He has his work cut out for him. How do we manage a way to retain Paul/Swiss, move Spaceman's contract, re-sign at least one of Ariza/Luc(or both), and still try to somehow land a bigger fish like Lebron/PG or whoever? Is Splash Gordon on his way out? If we did get a Lebron, what would the rest of the roster look like, and would it FIT?

I don't really get into following the whole financial side of it much anymore, so I'm hoping Traderwest will explain it all in detail that is easy to understand.

For years, I really didn’t understand anything about how the NBA works. Sure, I kindof thought I knew a bit, but alas, I was blind.

Then, Traderwest descended upon us like a bedazzled eagle of penultimate wisdom from the heavens and bestowed upon us true basketball enlightenment. He has brought fire and shown the way.

I now understand that everything I once thought was good is stupid, and berp berp derp dee derp blerp.
