Dallas with DSJ - Doncic - Matthews - Barnes - DAJ would be an interesting team to watch next year. Seems like the Clippers expect to lose DAJ and wanted to cover their center position while opening minutes for Robinson and Gilgeous-Alexander.

This is the year to let our lottery picks get every opportunity to play under a real coach with a real system. Get some vets on 1 year deals if possible or some reasonable short term deals, there are literally no players that are worth 10 million a year or more that want to come here so wait this out one more year its the smart move long term.

Any FA we sign this summer should be on one year deals. Overpay if necessary. Wait to sign Booker next summer. We would have $27.5M in cap space. That includes taking on two new rookie draft picks (Suns, Bucks) next years which probably should be traded away and that could give us $33M. Stretch Knight and its more like $43M. If we can play .500 ball this season then we can surely attract a big name FA next year.

Yeah probably a much better chance they keep Beverly as a bridge guy to get SGA ready. If they are out of playoff contention they can then try to flip him at the deadline and if he's looking healthy they probably get more than they would right now.

As far as Olson's tweet about Dallas getting better; really for the Suns they aren't good enough to worry about anyone but themselves. If we're being real here even a very good season probably means about 35-40 wins this year. The west is really good and this team won 21 games so a 15 game improvement would be huge step in the right direction.

This year should be all about getting back to respectability and making it an attractive place for guys to want to play with the young core.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Rooks looks good but DON'T EVER E.V.E.R. open your mouth about trading BAE (Lindsey) EVER again or the mods WILL ban you.

I'm sticking with Lindsey

Taylor is HOT AF

But I prefer the homely type. The type that doesn't need to be dressed to the nines just to do some quick grocery shopping at the local store.

After listening to Gambo I am convinced Bradley is the guy we walk away with. One of the few names he didn't bring up. Lol

Can't trade anything of significance for him imo. Sauce maybe since they just dumped a center. Or a protected 2nd.

The guy killed it in the playoffs and in the regular season.

But with that said.. He seems to be problematic if he doesn't get along with players or coaching.
Suns can't add someone like that on a young team that are trying to form chemistry.

So personality wise and timeline wise I don't think Rondo is the right player... But saying he sucks are wrong... He's good But just not suitable for the Suns.

When motivated and playing next to all-NBA talent, he's an excellent piece to have. But he quit/stunk it up in Sacramento and Dallas when they needed him. I don't hate on his skills or talent but it's true that he's a ball stopper and has to be really motivated to be playing on a high level.

I don't get the fit for the Wiz. They'll have almost $60m tied to 3 guards. I get they might want to move on from Gortat but Rivers? Really?

That would be a super sleeper move which I would love. Not sure what it'll take to get him though, hopefully no more than say a 2nd rounder to give them some cap relief.

Had a nice little back-and-forth with Evan Sidery, yeah.... as much as i hate to admit it, i think PatBev is staying.

I hate when i have great ideas that only last 48 hours (Even though ive been on the PatBev bandwagon for much much much longer).

I do have to say that my 2nd choice in the "Who Will Be The Suns Next Starting PG" would have to be Fred VanVleet.

Image

While he doesnt have the size or grit of Pat, he still is a great defender and 3 point shooter who can also run a team. Im looking for players that can check all 3 of those boxes, and there are very very very few of them, but Fred is one. The small sample size does scare me a bit, but he is far and away a better choice than many of the names (Big or small) that have been thrown about.
