I thought you were OKC for some reason.

Nah, about 4.5 hours north, we make a pilgrimage once a year. I'm hoping KC gets a team soon so that I can catch at least one more in person.

This is the moment Durant will never get to feel.

Apropos of nothing (at least no one here), is there an ignore/block button on this forum?

At least there's the famous KC BBQ up your way. That's got to be pretty good.

I believe it's labeled 'foe'

Thanks. There's a guy over on the current affairs forum that has a habit of just posting giant walls of text that was becoming pretty unruly to even scroll past.

We're officially cooler than Texas now. We got medical marijuana passed yesterday.

I feel like this pretty well summarizes the General Board on RealGM.

That post currently has 23 And-1s.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

I go to the general board to mainly read thread titles as a way to catch up on news. Many of the posts are pretty low iq. I think the old policy was that a person had to wait three months after creating an account to post on the GB. That served to eliminate some trolling. I wish they hadn’t changed it.

As of now, goal is to finish. Would like under 18 hours. It's an 88K and you have 24 to finish but it's in the White Mountains in VT and a lot of trails and hiking involved. I can get to 17 plus and take occasional walk breaks for maybe 30 seconds or so a mile, hoping to get out for my first 20 this weekend. But last year's winner was like 11ish hours so seems workable. Was out for 16.5 today.

And yeah, its rough on the knees, but the trails should be nice. And its a good reason to take a week in VT.

Nice. Start there this year and do badwater next year.

If anyone has a league or wants to get one going, let me know. I’ve got a couple people I could recruit but we will need about 8 minimum.

I don't have a league but if you get enough I'd go.
