So one of the all time great Golden State Warriors is LBJ's Daddy or Granddaddy. Hm makes sense we his daddy. Secret plan in 75...trade Nate to Chicago...beat him in in a crushing 7 game series....he gotta get out of town and seeks comfort at home in Ohio...PROFIT!

They say Curry got his moms looks and his dad's shooting genes

Image

But I did some digging and couldn't find conclusive DNA evidence that these two are actually father and son. That's when I realized that Curry was born in 1988; just around the time that Reggie Miller entered the NBA in '87. We know that Sonya Curry's type was shooters who were fresh out of college. Reggie presumably must have ran into her shortly before entering the league.

Dell Curry was a good shooter but he wasn't a great one like Reggie and Stephen. I think if you add up all the evidence you'll believe beyond a reasonable doubt that Reggie Miller is actually the father of Stephen Curry.

We'd have to go to Wakanda to find his father.

Wakanda is a proud nation. it would never give birth to such a man as him.

This is actually a pretty good thread.

As a LeBron fan I usually hate stuff like this but OP doesn't come off condescending to LeBron or his mother. It's always been a low blow to attack LeBron for not having a father tbh, but this is a decent theory.

My question is that if this were true, why is it being hidden. Whats the problem with Nate being LeBrons grandpa.

The whole thing about no male family members being in LeBrons life and that nobody knows who they even are is weird.

Either way---here is this

Don't know, he is kinda Hayde Christensen Anakin, definetly not the cool version from the OT or the charismatic one from the animated series.

Here is a picture of the guy said to be LeBrons father when he was in High School--Roland Bivens who was arrested and is in prison. The word is that he changed his name to Anthony McClelland once he was charged with crimes he committed. However, reports say that Roland Bivens died in a driveby shooting in 1994 when LeBron was 8----but Anthony McClelland is in prison for theft. *Cue spooky music** He didnt actually die, he changed his name to avoid the police but was still caught.

Here is a picture of LeBrons fathers other child from a different women--LeBrons step brother. His name is Aaron McClelland-Gamble

Source?

I've never looked too deep into his ancestry because it seems invasive but at this point I think it's worth examining.

Good read, the last theory seems pretty plausible.

It's amazing we have no idea where arguably the great physical specimen of all time got his genetics from.

Thought it would be a given by now that Kevin Durant is Lebron's daddy.

Well its apparent that he probably does have a step brother out there, I mean look at this. He even has the same body type.

Where did LeBron's genes come from?
We all know James has hit the genetic lottery in terms of size, athleticism, intellect. He picked up the game of BBall late and looked like he was born to play it.
It's hard to imagine those genes haven't played the NBA game before.

There are videos on youtube that mention who his father is, a guy named Roland Bivens who changed his name to Anthony McClelland. And I think that all seems likely given the photos and location.

This thread is about the conspiracy that his father is Nate Thurmond.

The similarities come in that they are both two of the most physically gifted athletes in the NBA ever, both have the same hairline and are both from Akron, Ohio. The similarities are interesting but the hairline comments bugged me.

I do believe that LeBrons hairline would be the same as Nate's or very similar without modern cosmetic enhancements.
Image

Truthfully, what bugged me about this theory was that baldness genes are largely inherited on the X chromosome and are therefore from the mothers side (the mothers father is the best indication).

I wondered, what if Nate Thurmond wasn't LeBron's father but was actually the father of his mother.... LeBrons grandfather.

I did some digging and 9 months prior to Gloria's birth aligns with the NBA offseason when a young Nate may have gone home to Akron to visit family.

They share similar face shapes, cheek-bones and around the eye area. If someone told you they were father and daughter you would see it.

It's only ever mentioned that LeBron had a grandmother named Freda James. No mention of a grandfather or whether James is her last name or a deceased husband.
Gloria has two brothers but she is older than both and looks quite different to them. It's possible they are from a different man with the "James " last name.

I guess what I'm thinking is that if you did want to make the case that Nate Thurmond is related to James then it makes much more sense that it's his grandfather, from a time/location perspective but also a genetic trait perspective.

Anyway, I thought this was novel. I've never seen anyone post about this in the light that Nate may be LeBron's grandfather. I just wanted to put it out there in case people were interested. It's unlikely this would ever come out or be proven, purely speculation with a ton of bias.

TL;DR
If you believe Nate Thurmond is related to LeBron then he's much more likely to be the father of Gloria James.

there's no resemblance. that's the "they all look alike" prism you're looking through. the only think similar is the pose and the unifrom
