Fair or unfair, they'll always be linked and compared because they were traded for one another. Besides, we compare and rank draft prospects all the time regardless of position. Certain statistics might not make sense to compare but as overall prospects I don't really see a problem comparing just because they are different types of players.

I feel we are heavily overvaluing Zhaire. The Suns were going to select DeVincenzo before the Sixers called. That means Smith would’ve gone 17th or later. Those guys usually need a lot more time to develop into good players if they become good at all. He’s also a 6’4 SF, which doesn’t work.

1.) honeymoon stage after draft
2.) BB mentioning kawhi and zhaire in same sentence
3.) too much free time
4.) hoping pop gets hyped after reading our posts and trade us kawhi for Zhaire
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I expect Zhaire to be a massive negative on the court this year. Hopefully he can defend well enough to grab a spot in the rotation. Dude is going to be 19 his entire rookie year. 19 year olds don't make a positive impact unless their name is Jayson Tatum.

His shot is beautiful releasing at apex.

Not saying I don’t like his form, which is good, I just think we need to calm down because he was a mid to late first rounder that people are acting is a big piece of our young core and is a big trade chip.

I think it's ok to be excited about Zhaire long term within reason. Anyone who is expecting him to be good this year or next will likely be disappointed. But I am expecting him to at least show some flashes this year due to his athleticism.

Let's not count that egg of Zhaire's before it hatches. He doesn't have the volume attempts nor strong projectability when it comes to his jumper.

Oh I'm not. I'm saying they both had suspect handles and suspect jumpers when drafted.

After the Fultz thing, I assume nothing these days when it comes to jumpers. If we drafted a clone of Ray Allen, I'm assuming he's shooting like MKG once he puts on a Sixers jersey.

Brett was obviously impressed with him, bringing him back for the 2nd workout to be sure he was all that. (his other workouts apparently went pretty swell as well.) are we really worried that the kid with enough hops and physicality to play pf and even center in college is too slight to guard wings? and instinct and court IQ...underestimate him at your own peril.

My "optimistic" outcome for him is 16-18 productive minutes off the bench. Like, better than TLC or Anderson last season.

Other than people getting stirred up about video of a hitch, there's nothing suspect about Mikal Bridges' jumper. He's a tried and true, rangy shooter.

Well at the same age Bridges jumper wasn't the weapon it is now. Outlier development on the shot for sure (ignore the "when drafted" from my last comment, I lost the thread there).

Hinkie, i mean Brown has seen where the league goes and has decided to draft a 6 years of contract of a hybrid of Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley.

According to Zach Lowe, Denver was desperately trying to trade their 2019 1st for a second pick in this draft to take Zhaire after selecting Porter.

His lack of ability to create off the dribble is worrying, hope he's in the kawhi package.

So tired of people using Zhaire's age as a positive. Improvement isn't linear, there is no guarantee he will ever get better. Bridges showed improvement every year in college there is no reason he should not continue to improve if we use previous evidence.

Really down on this trade.

Mikal Bridges isn't anything to cry about. He isn't anything special.
