Of those teams, I cant see the lakers 76ers or pacers offering him. Kings maybe but I doubt it. Hawks maybe but I doubt it.

He doesnt have a big market.

0ffer him a deal for 4 years at 68 to 70 million. Give him the 3 year out.

Hope it's a declining deal. I could live with 18,16,14, 12.

I've also read the Kings are interested in Jabari which makes no sense since his game overlaps with Bagley. But if they don't offer Jabari the max, Lavine is gone

The could offer him around 20 million a year if they wanted. That would be my ideal scenario if the Bulls wouldn't match it. I am pretty sure he's a losing player. I'd take him on a Lou Williams-like deal but he'd never accept that.

Just FYI that steep of a decline is not permitted under the CBA.

if our only competition is the kings, then i see lavine coming back, unless the kings give him the full max, which would make them the dumbest organization in the league and if lavine takes it, then good luck to him.

i think we offer 14-16 mill, i think he accepts around 18 mill per, which is fine with me and about where i wanted to keep him at.

Jabari the max? From what I've read, he'll be lucky to get 3/36.

Why would anyone believe the LaVine stuff when it’s plain to see we have two much better SGs and I want Buddy in the starting lineup, who can be a good starting SG, anyways?

He’s full of crap or it’s his agent

Absolutely not. Our money will be spent on positions of actual need

And LaVine is not good

Zach's free agency is really making me feel like the Bulls should've just kept the Jimmy trade at Dunn and 7 for Jimmy as it was rumored. Adding the LaVine for the 16th pick swap looks like it was a mistake. WCJ/Lauri/OG/Hutch/Dunn would've been awesome to watch develop, and for 2 more years minimum on the cheap.

But ultimately I hope they don't compound a small tactical mistake by feeling obligated to match a 20M/year type deal for Zach, we're not over the cap, that money can be fully used on other higher impact players.

2 very promising SGs making 13 million approx. it would be so foolish to go after Lavine in my opinion.

People need to stop thinking of free agency as a place to get fair deals or bargains.

For most teams and most players, free agency is about overpaying. That’s why I’m against it as rebuilding avenue vs draft.

Free agency price is not set by what the average Perceived value is. It’s what the most highest value is...what the outlier is.

I'm in favor of keeping LaVine. I don't think we can judge him fairly enough off his stint with us, to date. Plus, I think he's got growing and improving to do, even from where he was with Minnesota.

But, there IS a limit to how much I want to keep him. If the Kings offer him the max, see if you can work some sort of sign and trade, where you get SOMETHING out of it. Hield? Ridding ourselves of Felicio, future picks, get something, if at all possible.

14-16M annually would be very good value.. I can live with that on 3-4year deal

That’s the reason why we are used for leverage, because agents know people will believe it
